1) I’m a math teacher, I would write on my screen all day every day. To be able to write on websites would be amazing! 2) Medium, please! I have a small corded surface right now… I’m stuck with the cord and run out of writing space all the time.
I love Middle School and did that for 12 years!!! Love these specific Detailed ideas!~~~I would use a small Wacom for students SEL prompting with basic word or picture for re-focusing for lessons that I do virtually from my screencastify or Loom Video's!!
1. I can think of so many uses for this! Number Talks, Homework Help Videos for families, editing writing as a class, as well as helping students share their thinking with the class. 2. I’d love a medium tablet!
One way I would use the Wacom in my classroom is annotating pdf documents or slides from my board while I am with a small group. I would like the medium sized tablet
I would use the tablet to both create instructional videos for my kiddos and to real time annotate text we are engaging with in class. The medium would be great. Thank you for the video as well. The headphones idea is going to be a huge help in keeping them organized.
1. I’d use the tablet for annotating texts to highlight writers’ craft moves. Writing on the smart board is difficult, plus, I love the fact that I could annotate on a doc and share that with students as a resource. Students LOVE writing on the smart board but it’s hard to write clearly. The table would allow them to do so easily without feeling embarrassed that their writing looks weird. Sometimes my smart board isn’t so smart. Lol! 2. I’d use the small version. Thanks for the opportunity!
1. I would definitely use this tablet to annotate my Spanish lessons on the smart board I got last year. I would love to be able to do that from anywhere in my classroom as I am working with my students instead of having to go up to the board every time to write on it. 2. I think the medium tablet would work best.
1. I would love to use the Wacom tablet to provide video recorded lessons to those who are absent from class and for those who just need a little review on the skills we may be working on at the moment. I could see this being great for teaching how to research a topic online, organize writing for essays, as well as for working out the types of math we know our students typically struggle with from year to year. This could also be great when teaching parents about Google classroom as many parents are not that familiar with Google classroom or how to help make sure their child does not have missing work, etc. 2. The small Wacom would be perfect!
1. I would use the tablet to annotate screencast videos like you show. I might try connecting it up to my Promethean panel to draw out of the way of the screen. I would like to show it to our art teacher too. We've talked about different tablets but want to try one out before ordering. 2. I would love the Medium size, but I think I could do a lot with the small size.
1. I think the tablet would be a great way to instruct my technology students on how to use new software and websites! It sounds like a fabulous way to get them to understand instructions quickly and efficiently. Hopefully it will add some creative flair as well. ! 2. The medium tablet sounds fantastic! Oh no! Glad I caught this! My comment was deleted by RUclips!
1. This would be great to have for making tutorial screencast videos, demonstrating active reading (underlining and notetaking in class), and allowing students to display their understanding to me in front of class, in small groups, or one-on-one. And I'm sure I'd find even more uses for it as time goes on! 2. The medium one would be best, since I'm working at a school that has large screens in each class (not bragging, just excited to be at a new school with such an awesome new piece of tech!)
1. I would use the tablet to write on my google slides. I would also love to use the tablet on the annotate website using the extension. Lastly, it would be helpful for creating videos for my students. 2. I would love the medium tablet.
1. I would love to use the Wacom Intuos to create screencast videos for my mathematics classroom. I think it would also be useful in the classroom when students are taking notes or we are working on problems together. 2. I would like to have a medium Wacom tablet.
1. I would use the Wacom tablet to annotate articles on websites and other pieces of writing. I used to be able to do this when my room had a Promethean Board, but my district moved away from the smart boards, so I have been using an Elmo. However, that requires me to print the material out for every class and it's a pain. 2. The medium tablet would be great!
1. I would use this to creat screencasts and instructional videos. I’m trying to switch into a completely blended and self-paced model which involves making detailed videos that students can follow along with so that what I would use the tablet to help me create. 2. I would prefer the medium sized tablet. Thank you so much for the great content and opportunity to try out some new tech as well.
I actually have a question for you. Considering that you guys both build and use hyperdocs and that you got to interview Lisa Highfil a super hyperdoc-driven teacher, what do you think is better for self paced learning? I know Highfil mentions to not make every lesson a hyperdoc to avoid fatigue but I can’t think of a better way to administer self-paced blended learning. Any advice or resources would be GREATLY appreciated!
Hey glad you saw that little Easter egg! We are big fans of Tiago Forte and the Building A Second Brain methodology. We've been thinking about this exact question a lot and plan on creating some content around how teachers can create their own digital second brains to better manage all of their digital files. Are you implementing some kind of second brain system?
1. This Wacom tablet would be so, so helpful! I plan on transitioning to a self-paced model this school year, so I plan on making a ton of instructional videos! I teach high school English Language Arts, and I love the idea of being able to model annotation strategies for analyzing a text. 2. The medium Wacom would be a dream come true! Thank you so, so much for this giveaway! This channel helped me bring my teaching to the next level. Thank you for all that you do!
Thanks for the great content and the chance to win! 1. What would you use the Wacom tablet for in your classroom? I would love to begin screencasting more lessons for my math and reading students so they can watch/replay and self-pace while I'm meeting with small groups. I've seen a HUGE need for even smaller groups when working with my students as a result of the pandemic. 2. Would you prefer a small Intuos or medium Intuos? I'd prefer the medium since it is a wireless version.
Hi, It was a great watch! I have a few teacher friends, and I have shared some great apps and software with them that have helped them a lot. It has made their sessions even more engaging, and better. I found this one very helpful as well, and I will definitely share this tech with them. I hope they can find it helpful, and make the best decision. I really appreciate your channel and all the amazing videos you share on this platform.
I would love to win the Wacom tablet :) One way I would use it is to connect it to my promethean board and be able to write math problems on my board while not being glued to the promethean. I think it would help a lot with proximity and I can place it on my rolling desk. I would love the medium sized tablet :)
