I really enjoy your rich and professional reactions👏thank you again. Dimash is a singer who sings out of the box and tries different styles, genres and so one. He’s a perfectionist and wants to improve himself. Of course for me he doesn’t have to be perfect as I’am already enjoying his songs and music. He’s like a painter singing each song in different styles and colours that makes me happy even when I’am sad. Because at the end it’s music art thats the difference and uniqueness 😘🍀🍀because I feel it and believe every word he sings.

I have NEVER heard this performance so brilliantly and perceptively analysed. I know the lyrics and because I have something similar happening to me right now, I of course, cried oceans of tears. Thank you for your interpretation of the song. It was passionate. A note. At the end in the audience a bald man in the front row in a white shirt out of his pants stood up and clapped for Dimash. That man (I don’t know if it was here) came out of retirement for Dimash. He is a very wealthy composer from Russia who writes many of Dimash’s songs, plays the piano for him, and is a mentor. He wrote ogni pietra olympico, your love, love is like a dream and maybe the love of tired swans. I’m sure ther are many others but he’s new to me. His name is Igor kurtoy and his name is on the thumbnails of some of Dimash’s songs. He must be amazing that dimash let him in because after the China show all of the contracts and producerscame out of the woodwork. Dimash started doing concerts and this is 2020 and recently I found a few songs on iTunes. But couldn’t find sons to download until very recently. It’s good that he has Igor and not some of the mean producers from you know what countries that are only looking for dollar signs. Dimash still lives with his grandparents as is the tradition in his country. He wouldn’t go to Italy recently for the recording of across endless dimensions because he didn’t want to bring back Covid 19. I don’t know where they made it but producer of creators : the past somehow brought his team to where they could film and record the video.
Excellent analysis, as always. I am a few decades past being a "fan girl," but I am so thrilled to have found this artist and to be able to enjoy his art. You mentioned his Dears that were there from China, and I have to admit I just spontaneously bought tickets to see him in Germany next year -- I live in Colorado, and my daughter (who will be 22 at the time of the concert) lives in California. I NEVER dreamed of being able to travel outside of the USA again in my lifetime, but am a recent widow and have found love and grief are bittersweet portals. Right now, I can think of no greater joy than flying for half a day around the world to see this man perform.

It's sinful passion, not unrequited passion. The song's Russian title is the name of a street, which the character frequents in hope of an assignation. Then he has one.

Brilliant reaction and analysis, MaxTiu! I like the cadence of your speech - very clear, slow-paced, but it kept me listening to everything you had to say. I just about fell off my chair when you said that you are grateful to be experiencing Dimash's artistry in this lifetime. I had just said the same thing to one of my friends yesterday. Dimash is a gift to our universal language: music. And speaking of which, I loved the narrative you composed for this song because it fit so well, even though the ending part is a different story, in reality. I do the same thing with Dimash's performances. He sings in 12 different languages and I only understand one and a wee bit of a couple of others; yet - it matters not. Dimash is one of those rare talents who can lift storytelling through music to a whole new level. In Kazakhstan we used as Kazakh - around 70 % and Russian - 30 % population.
Basically I may say we r Kazakh with Russia as some way USA and Canada relations.
So U asked about "OFF" in the end of his family name?
Its in Russian.
In Kazakh his family name prounancation - KUDAI BERGEN.
Its means -GOD GIVEN.
So seems some decision about Him was made somewhere on the Sky century ago...
More than sure THIS message one day will be delivered to GRAMMY people.
Dont know why but its Dream of our BOY for today.
China and Europe r not enough for Him.

Hi Max, amazing how you interpreted the meaning and the feeling of this song spot on just based on Dimash's performances. From your reaction and analysis, I'd gain a few more perspectives from this song, especially the way you described of how Dimash sang in a way of begging for love from a forbidden relationship, hence "Sinful Passion". Can't wait for more reaction for Dimash's performances. The first gentleman standing at the end of the song, is Igor Krutoy, giving Dimash the standing ovation!! I bet you, that Igor was shock and in disbelief, just like most of us, from what he saw that day watching Dimash performance live. On the same token, imagine the pressure Dimash had of having Mr. Krutoy in the audience. That's the first time most of us, < Dear>, got to see Igor. I just love this song, certainly one ofmy favourites. There is one video with the subtitles and I be honest I never looked at them. Your reaction has been wonderful. He acknowledges the musician always. But for this song, the musician are part of a Kazac group called A-Studio, who were the origianl singers of this song.One other little thing, at the end of the video, there was the standing ovation and there was a man in a white shirt. You will pass his way many times.He is Maestro Igor Krutoy and is a compoer and Dimash sings many of his songs. Ah I forgot, Kudaibergov is the russian way to say Kudaibergen, they put often the -ov after the family name- Thanks a million

Love your reaction and your approach to reviewing the songs. Very much in line with how Dimash feels. In interviews Dimash doesn’t like to talk about his vocal range and will not tell what it is. He says it doesn’t matter what it is he only uses it as a tool to aid in the telling of the song bringing the audience into the emotion. I am very new to Dimash as well but have heard everything he has done so far. But when I saw backstory of Daybreak and then watched his performance I realized what all the high notes and power was about it was the little boy. Yesterday I watched my first interview of Dimash he has such passion and it gives him such pleasure to sing. I have subscribed because you are so insightful it is also a pleasure to watch you as well. ❤️

Again, Drunken Concubine / Diva Dance, from the fifth element, is in Mandarin, and Jasmine Flowers with Wu Tong is also in Mandarin.
The song with Tingre has Mongolian vocals as well as Mandarin.
