Yea, people are blessed with traffic, absurd housing costs, the opioid epidemic, homelessness, and gang wars. Don't get me wrong, it's geographically the most beautiful city in Canada, maybe even North America, a great place to vacation in the summers. But for the regular middle-class man, it's probably the worst place to live and raise a family in Canada. This is coming from a Vancouverite whose moving to the Interior of BC. Most of my family and friends have moved out either to the Island, Interior, or Alberta. The ones that remain are wealthy or have family businesses.
@@ayushonkar850 Relative to other Canadian cities? No, these same problems don't exist. I've lived in Toronto and Calgary as well. Toronto real estate is expensive, traffic is bad too for long commutes but not so much for within a satellite city. Everything else, Vancouver has just crashed in. It's the same dialogue I have with other Canadians as well. Quality of life has really deteriorated. The most appalling thing to see that you don't see in other Canadian cities is the amount of homelessness and drug addicts. Its San Franscico level.
