Just bought my first motorcycle and it’s a second hand classic 500 with 1000km on it, don’t understand why anyone would sell this machine, it’s amazing.
a up mate from sunny Yorkshire,i got a 2020 500 trials replica just before they ceased making them it is a great little bike the gear box is as smooth as prince williams head .iv just come across your videos ....keep up the good work 👍👍👍
you forgot the chaps with the open backside, as for hard shifting into second try taking up a bit of the slack in the clutch cable, just enough to let the clutch plates release more when you pull the clutch lever in, this can make the gears a lot lighter to shift, does not take much to make a difference , worth a try cheers mate
Love my classic 500 Bullet, changing gear sometimes feel slack with no clunk when changing down gear. Sounds like a Harley but I don’t wear leathers, more of a waxed jacket sort of of guy.
Hey mate, I'm a big fan of you videos. I also own a Tribute down here in Tassie. Just a quick question - On several occasions I forgot to use the choke when starting cold. I always let the engine warm up for a minute but there were a few cold mornings where I started the engine without the choke down. Would this have caused any damage to the engine? Cheers!
I love my classic 500. It's impossible to be in a bad mood or in a hurry on a 500 Enfield. The weather is getting wet and miserable in Ireland now. The police academy thing is gas.

Yep. Its a Keeper
I love mine. Also a classic black tribute . No trouble with the gears. She's got 600 kms on it
I like how you refer to the "Blue Oyster Bar scene" from "Police Academy" movie whenever you see a Harley.... It's a laugh...!!!
Or Jonny Cakes on the Sopranos

Nope. You only need the choke if it cold or hard to start. I rarely use it
Yes my 21 Yr classic C5 is pretty crap at going down the box in 3rd to 2nd and 1st
Mines going up just into 2nd. Gotta love it's personality
