It's a Yenko clone, I installed the console and speedo when restored... Wow, Talk about picky... and sorry to burst your bubble but 2:33 was fun as hell! sorry if Muscle cars are to only be putted around town...Not in my book! I Always jump on the car in safe hyway entrances..etc. so go bark up someone elses tree... Some folks need to get a life.
Hey man I am glad to see you drive that car the way it was meant to be driven. You don’t build a muscle car like that to cruise you build to dump the clutch and go
My test was always sideways at 70. If I could cruise along @70 in high gear, stab it and get crazy sideways loose I considered my motor to be running properly. Those cars are made to drive!
I had a 70 TA with a .060 455 with 12-1s (#12 400 heads 72 cc RAIII) and a M20 and 4.10 12 bolt. SD Rods and a Nodular Crank, 1/2" Fuel Lines, Modified Torquer and an 850 DP. HEI with MSD 6AL setup. 1st and 2nd were useless. Was a mid 11 second car all day long weighing about 3400. I so remember that amazing fry the crap out of the Mickey Thompson 29x11s at will. They don't make cars like this anymore. That sir is one amazing camaro! Very Nice!
My high school graduation present was a 69 Copo red with red interior drag race it religiously on the street never wrecked it never killed nobody I set the car sideways at 85 mile an hour with four people in the car scare the Daylights out of everybody brings back a lot of memories keep up the good work keep it between the lines
My graduation car was a 1980 amc eagle. Wasnt fast for shit but it did badass cyclones in the high school parking lot, got around in the snow great and it was black so i got lots of trim ☺
Thats what a car should sound like,..Hats off to a man that keeps that aggressive sound,..Too many old times [putting LTD mufflers on their Hot Rods now days
good god....my heart is pumping so fast right now hahaha i wish you had a shot from the outside. first gen. camaros have a special spot in my heart, and the sound of that cam thumping took the other half!
gorgeous car man. i own a '69 Camaro also, a father son project. its a SS350 4 spd car that was originally Daytona yellow. the Yenko stripes look so right on the red....
Beautiful yenko I had red one with black stripes in 2007 with 350 , rolled it , then got a lemans blue yenko 427 4-speed with the 4:10 gearing , no power steering I wanna say 4:11 for some reason but beautiful car always will love that 69 i will be posting video this weekend of it
Yes I have a Muncie m21 close ratio with 3:73 gears and 1st gear taking off isn't the tire burning gear but after 3000 rpm I run thru them like I am chasing down the guy whole stole bud light. Love the speed you can shift a Muncie they are awesome
Ah, with authority! Had a 68z that was bought by two brothers for bracket racing. No console no flippy lights, no spoilers no extra weight 4:10, 90 10 shocks, pinion snubber, motor and trans that's it. They finally destroyed the motor at the track. My buddy's dad had a machine shop where the brothers had work done. Motor was not saveable. They sourced a 70 LT1 engine, did head work, balanced and bp. 12:1 compression, it was mid 70's and we had good gas then, crane cam and manifold with worked over Quadrajet, Hooker headers and Mallory ign. The brothers bought a 70z and raced it, selling the 68 to the shop. My friend bought the car and then sold it to me for $2500 in 1976. I ran f70 15 and g60 15 tires on ET mags Would go to the cruising, there would be 60 to 80 cars, places looking for races, most would see the little 302 on the fenders and not try, little did they know it had an LT. It would pull to 7,050 all day/night long.
nice car buddy i really enjoyed the video ,i have a 67 beaumont and its restored but i still get on it as much as i can and i have a ball too so much fun cheers
Yeah my 67 yenko set off car alarms all the time. 427 BBC 575hp. But I had to sell it :( Nice ride Brother! I hope to own one again some day. Married with children!
“Break loose without trying”. In my old 69 Z with the “140” cam I had to try very carefully to not beak loose, with 373 gears. Was super deadly with 456 gears and all that RPM.
As comparison with that very short 4,1:1 final drive ratio here in Spain was the Seat 124 Especial 2000 in 1979 known as "FL-90" by Seat, 1.919cc (117 cu.in.) 4 in line engine , 114HP, 996 Kg weight full tank, 5 speed manual gearbox and had 4.1:1 final drive ratio too, 1/4 mile was in 17,2 sec. Top speed 173Km/h (107,6mph).
how come Spain is often "quiet" like here in Canada ive never met one person saying they are from Spain, or when i was on vacation in the Caribbean. i find it intriguing, i grew up in a town full of Portuguese but not one person from Spain, is it just nice there?
@@cloakedgt Well, I´m a strange man, when I was 20yo (now 53, from ´69 as that Camaro), bought american muscle car reviews , Muscle Car, Super Chevy, Hot Rod, the Four Wheeler with lifted trucks, that reviews comes from a Military Base in a village near Madrid Capital, then I love those old cars from ´60-´70-´80, usually see videos of them. Portugal, neighbour country, 2 years ago go from South to North with my Merc W124 300TD, very very good people there. Years ago I saw somes Camaros ´69 at sell, original Madrid license plate, remember were at 3000-3600 euro....
Yeah buddy.... I had an 65 Olds cutlass with manual everything I had a built 396 in it, 4 speed , 4.10 rear and it did the same . First three gears was no traction at all just fishtailing but 4th hooked and I was gone... I miss those days and my cars. Should had held onto one of them...
Got to love Big Blocks, I put 73 454 into my *3 Mote it surprises many mustangs and vettes with ease, worst to lose street race caddy and lexus owners have had many a fingers pointed upwards
@BlueprintEngines Thanks for the comments and building a killer Engine! She is a beast!!! She is cholding 60lbs of oil pressure at idle / warm... and seems to be running great! Feel free to use any of these videos for advertisement or endorsement. She sure is fun to drive with that BB making 550 Ft LBS of TQ!!! Soon I'll do some full throttle romps. but trying to ease my self into the power and the cars reacations...etc.! But ya'll at BluePrint were definately a big part of PROJECT YENKO!
Sounds good as i had a 67 clone in the mid 70's -- 427-425 hp dead stock with headers with 4.56 gears-- Sounds like you have a much more radical cam? 550 tq is a lot, is it a 427 and do you still have the rectangular port heads? Seems some use the oval for many applications-- very hard to hook up with those old cars and actually dangerous to control so you better get some slicks for the track, any Camaro with a good BB is GREAT, i love the hideaway headlights
@JohnQuincyAdams1 . We have 2 Copo Camaro's. Both have Center Consoles. NO power steering and No Vinyl top. Center Console was pretty common in all the Copo's and Yenko Camaro's that i have personally seen.
@XboobtubeX Yes, She is a good girl!... unless she breaks... Every time I beat on her I feel lucky to have returned home with no issues... So I pat the dash and praise her for a job well done... silly but makes me feel better! Not like I have an obession or anything.... No shitter ever came between and Christine....
You can look at BMWs , Range Rovers and Teslas and everyone thinks " what a deuchebag".......but you see one of these you're just plain jealous.......boomers definitely had the best rides❤
yep nothing like puttering on to the interstate with the t tops out and then hammering it and hitting over 100 in no time pretty fun doing over 100 with most of your roof missing lol
Gearheadsdesign, ignore the wannabe. Probably one of those Old Farts that buys a Muscle Car at Barret-Jackson and locks it up in an Air-conditioned Barn w/ the rest of his status toys. Muscle Cars ( and Man this Beast rocks) were designed to be turned on once in a while period. otherwise they never would have been built. One thing tho Gearheadsdesign, better get some wider or stickier rear tires for that "Good Girl". I loved that at the end. Used to pat my 69 Roadchicken the same way.
Mike how old are you ? dude you really think what you were doing was Quote Beating on Her? listen about 30 yrs ago or so I built one bad ass GTO with a 427 and M22 i got from a friend in the Bronx ...I can tell you from years of Street racing you were HARDLY BEATING HER My god Man do you even know what "Beating is" Beating is when you come home with broken valve springs or shocks torn out of the rear or a broke drive shaft But Mike a few short shifted bursts Does NOT A BEATING MAKE ..
Very nice nothing beats that old school sound of cars like this
sweet video and awesome car man, always love seeing others letting there camaros truely open up and breath like they should.
That is a beast! My dad had a 396ci Nova and I thought it was nuts lol your Camaro is insane!
Absolutely gorgeous and sounds amazing. Great work on the finished product.
That's how you make a driving video with a car like that- beautiful!!!
Gotta love that 4.10 rear end gear.
AMERICAN MUSCLE!! There is no substitute.

Love the sound of a big block and banging gears

20 Prius owners just had a major coronary!!
Great video it took me back to back in the day when I had a 69 super sport. It was just like sitting in the driver seat again.

great car man .love the sound.
There is no replacement for displacement. Slick ride Boss Job Well Done.
never was a big chevy fan but they did make some amazing cars and yours is one of them

hahaha 3:28. a man who cannot help but look at his car while pulling in his drive way, is a GEARHEAD
I luv the positive reinforcement at the end classic
very nice! perfect lope/exhaust note!
Now is about the time I would get red & blue lights!!! Very NICE
awesome.. just plain beautiful!
Congratulations. Beautiful car. I hope you still have it.
Why can't they make cars like this anymore!?? Gearheadsdesign you have been blessed with such a great machine.

every time you shift a muncie, just remember it owes you a ton of money

What is that noise at 2:56?
Thats him grinding the gears because he thinks he cool enough to shift without clutching
thats the sound of a 2500$ tranny bill
Or it isn't the trany at alk becayse this car is fuckung expensivr and he actually just ran over a piece of scrap metal.
That was either a tool box full of wrenches that fell over or he just blew a Fn tranny.
373 rear and m21 wide ratio is what i had and it was a pleasure to drive and it was also a freeway phenom
The M-21 is a CLOSE RATIO!! The M-20 is the WIDE ratio!!
So which is better between the two? I have a Muncie and have no clue which ratio it is. Will be used as a street, little hell raiser.
thanks for the ride,I really enjoyed it.
Yeah my 67 yenko set off car alarms all the time. 427 BBC 575hp. But I had to sell it :( Nice ride Brother! I hope to own one again some day. Married with children!

that's like having an F-16 show up at a local airport..its much-much more than needed..noisey...whew...just perfect!

What size tire and what gear in the rear end??
what do you do for a living? (career) because you have two Camaro, one is a late model as well as a modern one
Yeah, I think I'll do what he does. Probably sales or stock broker.
Im thinking about going for a Yenko Replica myself, with a 427 engine and a muncie 4spd manual. What engine do you have in this beauty?!
Fer Lorente I'm pretty sure this is an original which he repaired and added a new drivetrain on. I may be wrong though.
oik I missed the tires blowing in third...

Beautiful car nothing Like an American muscle car just saying
you mean a yenko clone
soo nice man. im about as jealous as one man gets

that sir is one badass camaro...kudos to you brother, shes a sexy beast.
Yeah baby I love it!! All the jealous thumbs down wish they had that fine ride...🚗🚓👍
sweet sweet Camaro!
Thanks for the ride! LOL Awesome video.
very good vid.I enjoyed the ride.
Excellent !!
You got to. After building.... They become family.
Because we have too... it's like keeping our hand on the trigger. :)
It's a bomb-ass ride!
Man this is fantastic. But when you got on it it was like trying to ride a nuclear bomb. We're the tires breaking out underneath you?
Why does the 69 ss look beter than 2017 version
Most new cars are butt ugly
why do you think dumbass, one is a muscle car and one is a glorified suv
Sweet car buddy
Sounds like something broke @ 2:56, U noticed it too... lol >:)

I GOT TO GET ME ONE OF THOSES!!!!!!!
You about to pay 220,000$ for one these things are a rich person toy
4:10 is alot of gear for that size tire.
Gearing is about right for a serious quarter mile run with that engine/car...
Not a drag car... Doesn't even think about hooking. If you spin, you look cool, but you lose!!!!!
Hell yes! I'm dying to get started on my stock 2014 SS.

If you watch this in full screen with the volume up while holding an X Box controller you can't help trying to steer.
@JohnQuincyAdams1 . Most Yenko/COPO Camaros have consoles
Puppy unit
I put 2 school buses between my v6 an a 502 70 ss chevelle
Hope you still have that girl.
That Camaro just shat down both back tires.
