@@brandonthompson8413 The Street Race at Chicago wasn’t good. Another year rain was a problem. The racing was not good where they made the race shorten due to losing light. These schedule events have to go back at 12. PM ET. Enough of the 4 PM ET. Starting the race later doesn’t help at all in case when bad weather is a huge threat.
@@pjartistics And daytona's never been shortened due to weather? Huh. At least the Chicago racing was entertaining and action packed and unpredictable unlike daytona. Daytona is one of the lamest tracks on the nascar schedule.
What is the reality that there will be a season 3 of Lost Speedways? One of the best pieces of work y’all put together and I know I’m not the only one that wants to learn more track history and listen to the racers that lived the tracks.
It might happen if Prime takes over the show.

@JJ-1-1 That’s unfortunate to hear. Maybe they can title it something different and start a new series covering these forgotten raceways. Like how the Top Gear guys rebranded as Grand Tour.
I learned so much history from those episodes. And not just racing history, Earnhardt family history too.
I don't think the laps in between stages should count as caution laps or laps at all
I have said this for years.
I don’t think stage racing in NASCAR needs to exist period. But definitely don’t count the laps.

It's been getting increasingly difficult for me to keep watching Nascar and I've been a fan for DECADES! Its getting to be insufferable. I truly believe that the big wigs of Nascar are actively TRYING to put themselves out of business.
I'm a older fan and this new NASCAR socks. Mostly because of the racing or lack of racing and announcers trying to convince us it's exciting!
Agree! The short track racing especially is pathetic compared to the races in the 80’s and 90’s. You just knew back then going to a short track or watching it on tv you’d get a great show. Now it’s a no passing snooze fest. The only really good racing you see passing is restrictor plate tracks. The rain tire mess at N.H. was pretty entertaining though. 🤣

Not a fan of the roval. But growing up 45 minutes from Watkins Glen, I love the true road courses. In fact, I’d love to see the Glen in the playoffs as it would approach the fall setting that the US Grand Prix enjoyed for many years.

PS Obvs I prefer Homestead for the finale, can do great PR on SouthBeach, Wynwood Arts District, Downtown Bayside with a big park festival to end the year then everyone can vacay to Key West or Key Largo - what more can you ask for in life? 🌴 🌇 🌞

Phoenix needs to get the hell out as the championship....it's terrible and should only get one race a year early. Homestead needs to go back as the finale. Wilksboro needs a points race and they need to go back to rockingham

A 2nd oval at Charlotte just guarantee Charlotte will go down to one date eventually. A second oval at Charlotte wouldn't have enough identity. Just how it was for many years, it was just during an era where we had like 6 tracks and went to each track twice.
As a road race fan, no rovals or street circuits. I will not turn them on. ISC owns Road Atlanta, use it if you want a road race.
Homestead should be the final race and Wilkesboro should be a points race.

Too hot in South Florida during spring and summer probably.
The damp tires were great but Loudon needs a repave. No one could launch well on the inside for restarts. They can't stay on the bottom and run the apron on the long run. The PJ1 stained in the middle doesn't help.
New Hampshire has never been a very good track. It's the worst track on the schedule and has been since I can remember. Just my opinion though.

I believe every year the playoff tracks should be different from the year before This would give different drivers that are better at different tracks and a better chance at variety champions
Every year there should be a different set of tracks for the playoffs to keep the teams on there feet and fans interested, imagine a Bristol, indy oval , daytona , Michigan, in playoffs.

Honestly having Daytona not being 4th of July weekend anymore ruins it to start. Then the Clash is the lamest.
Then why so many road courses, it’s not Indy.
Winston Cup series was the best time of NASCAR and every year since it gets worse. I’ve decided to only watch super speedway races. All the commercials and bad broadcasts make it had to watch

JR’s Hellmann’s sponsorship is nice but deep down inside he’s a Duke’s Real Mayonnaise guy. Especially since they have ties to the Carolina’s.

Im okay with them changing charlotte back but only if they found a different road course to take its place because the only reason from what i can tell for having road course in the playoffs is nascar is trying to make it to where there is a variety of tracks you have to compete at in the playoffs to show that you deserve to be champion because if its all just ovals in the playoffs then i dont fell like its much of a challenge for the teams since they mostly race at ovals. Thats just my opinion. And the issue with homestead is that yes it puts on good races but no one really shows up in the grandstands because everyone is either at the beaches or at home since its always pretty hot in florida.

The most iconic tracks should be part of the play off, alos Who is MO and how dirty are they.
Guys please get Dale a Heil PR40 mic to get rid of the room noise. I use one for my podcast and so does Leo Laport the Tech Guy. Many artist use the PR40. Bob Heil invented the voice box for Peter Frampton. I think he may also need better internet service.

North Wilkesboro should have a points race, Homestead should be the finale, and Loudon should be thrown off the schedule entirely.

#2...Kelley & Dale are wise not to spend their money to purchase a charter for Cup Series when there is not much return on their investments. Please, everyone, stop complaining about them not being in the Cup Series! They will make that move if & when the time is right and it makes sense for their business model.
Honestly, the series needs to overhaul the entire schedule. They need to add more road courses, have less cookie cutter ovals, quit going to every track twice, and shorten the season. Then maybe NASCAR will stop being NAPCAR and could grow past southern/rural America again.
The rival shouldn’t have ever been a race, sooner or later someone has to see that.

I don't think loudon and gateway should be in the playoffs they are too similar. To think we're losing atlanta, and homestead for those two tracks is shocking. As a fan, the racing product is far less entertaining in comparison to homestead and atlanta.

Never been a fan of the roval or the colosseum, streets of Long Beach are better than downtown Chicago, Long Beach was the biggest beach party ever during the CART GP millions of auto racing fans here, Atlanta was the place to be at the end of the season, bud shoot out Charlotte all star charlotte, if it ain’t broke don’t BREAK IT

I 100% agree to get rid of the Roval. I never liked it. Not a big fan of COTA, the Indy Road Course, or what ever that crap was in the LA Coliseum. Chicago not impressive either.

Everyone of the tracks I named have well known, serious to ludicrous flaws. The Roval has always been a joke with those exaggerated chicanes.
Homestead is very good track to have in the play offs too.

Here's another option!? Being a NASCAR for over 50yrs. This is My opinion...TURN THE TV OFF...the coverage, the announcers, & only @8 laps of racing at a time! IT ALL SUCKS!!! I think there's a Perry Mason re- run on NOW...
Forget schedule and tracks...get better drivers and a better product...... go back to old point system as well....

The Charlotte Roval reconfiguration makes it seem like it won’t be going back to the oval next year.
It’s been losing popularity since the first gimmick race on it! They are trying to see if they can ignite fans into wanting it to stay! It’s going to be another snoozer & they will have no choice but to it to return to the fall race on the oval!

How successful was the other trips there? It was BORING RACING! The majority of the fans spoke & Nascrap listened for once! We need less road courses!
@@user-zq1px9yb7g Both races were 100k-125k and the drivers all loved it. You can count on one hand the number of 100k attendance tracks NASCAR has been to in the last 10 years. It's a stupid decision and a massive slap in the face to a state that has given NASCAR so much. The Milwaukee Mile is also right there and would sell out in a heartbeat.
