Looks like you put up with the same amount of near misses as I do on the roads here in Sydney, Australia mate. Driving a 22 wheeler truck is much the same here. It seems the bigger the vehicle the more people want to cut in front of you. Patience is a virtue it seems. Great content, subbed. Nice ASMR sound of the electric motor(s) too. Much like the Rythym of the steel belts of a truck humming on the road.
As a Hongkonger this also annoys me. You really need that turn signal to determine if it is good to cross or not. But no, these cars, especially the taxis, would not bother to use the turn signal.
@@hktramguy Yeah, love the sound. We have mostly async motors with semiconductor regulation here on trams and trains and the sound is totally different
@@hktramguy I assumed that you would pull on it instead of push like the trolley I got to drive once, I thought you weren't releasing the brake at times and it did it itself

Again you made a nice video. I enjoyed. Thank you for uploading.
Glad you enjoyed!
Great content, not sure how this landed on my feed; love how few turn signals are used, except for the buses, reminds me of the major city near me

Miss riding the tram in Hong Kong. Cheers from Thailand 👍

Great video. What kind of motors does it have? DC motors?
Yes, they run on DC motors

Nice Video!👍
What does the lever on the right do? I understand the lever on the left is your throttle. Is there a diagram I can look at somewhere?
We use air braking in our trams, and the lever on the right controls the air pressure
what does pushing the brake lever forward do for the tram?
It slows down the tram

Do they really need to push that brake lever so hard? '>.
That was years ago (probably 3 decades ago), they don't do it anymore as they are allocated their own meal times during each shift now.
🙂🙂🙂
What an realistic graphics!
It's real. Look at the breeze on his shirt. Simulators have no need to recreate that.
