I just noticed your vocal lessons three days ago. They are all down to earth instructions and can be applied to my singing right away. I just kept watching your videos one after another. Couldn’t stop. You are a great teacher. Thank you so much.
Welcome to my channel! I am so happy that I can help you!
It's funny how the other channels with hundreds of thousands of subscribers won't give these tips.. I've been following a couple but this channel is the best yet :D
I appreciate that! Come back again soon!
She’s amazing!
As a non-English native speaker, I find these tips very helpful as I tend to sound sloppy and unclear. Thank you very much for the videos.
I’ve been singing for fun for 13 years, and have been doing musical theatre for 3 years now but really want to improve my vocal skills and this video was really helpful! Thank you!!
My god, you're great.
Oh, I truly appreciate your comments! Thank you.
I love your energy Victoria. Keep on making us smile.
Thank you so much! 🙂
@@Victoria-Victorious nice foice
Also these tips most certainly work in jazz and blues too which is what I like to sing. The way you explain things makes these concepts universal
Great! Thank you for your post!
Thankyou. I have bought your course and also watch you everyday. I m grateful to you.
Thank you Victoria ❤❤❤ It’s been a blessing to find your channel 🧡🧡🧡
Love this! Thank you, Victoria!
You are a large part of our musical journey and responsible for our growth. Thank you!
Finally!! found a very helpful tutorial! After watching this video I instantly hit subscribe. Thank you so much! hope to improve my voice more
I can see that most people are looking in the wrong places. This should have millions of views!
Thank you so much, Saqif! Please feel free to share my channel with your singer friends!
It's what you DO with your voice. It aint what you do, it's the way that you do it! Thanks Victoria.
That's exactly how I want people to teach, when I saw You defining the things that make singers sound dull, in an instant I saw it was me.
I sound dull and was not sure what to emphasize on. Now your tips really gonna help me elevate my singing
your lesson is so helpful. thank you
Thank you so much. I’m a musician who has always listened to the band but never the singer. Now I’m 75 years old and ready to sing! Your dictation is inspiring.
Great! 75 is young! I have had students start in their late 70s and early 80s!
100% Correct! Thank you for this..
Thanks Victoria, for this master piece 🙏🙏
My pleasure 😊 ! Thank you for posting!
O my... this is exactly what i need. Thank you.
Great! Again you have scored 100!!!!! Thanks and keep up the good work.
The greatest part about your teachings is not just about the tips. I've realised that paying attention to your voice also helps. For example we can all practice good vowels but if they're not open as yours sound then it's not good.
I have been using your videos to warm up for the past few days. Aside from your amazing tips I love that you sing a lot in your lower register. It gives me hope as a contralto I can extend my range in time. Thank you for what you do
Awesome! Thank you!
So glad I came across you Victoria❤ You explain things so well 🙏🏻
Thank you! I'm humbled by your comment.
Your tips are awesome. Great teaching
This is so insightful, thank you ❤
Oh my goodness. You are amazing. ❤️
Thank you
Great job explaining the importance of diction in singing. Unfortunately, many singers today focus on how to sing a whistle note or do great runs, and less focus on diction which is far more important.
Brilliant, Victoria. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you 🎉❤❤
Thanks! You helped with
My goodness..you rock...I'm gonna binge-watch your vídeos..I m really interested in strees and this shift in the meaning

Waw i enjoy watching her vedios and i practice. I am seeing a change
❤❤❤You are really pretty good! God bless you!
Contrary to popular belief, diction matters!
I had somewhat of an advantage in this area because my mother was very hard on us about our diction with speaking. So I learned this lesson long before I started studying voice for singing.
Great, although diction in singing goes past pronunciation. It is how you use the words to tell the story. It makes your voice come to life too.
@@Victoria-Victorious I just started practicing "unbreak my heart" by Toni Braxton. I have to really get into the story of the song to get it right. My "Divine coach" helped me to appreciate this through show tunes since all the songs are stories. Get into character and the song comes out right.
This piece is good!!!!😊
Thank you!
looking amazing, lesson is even more so. on a different note, having mentioned it in several lessons you made us very curious to see that chihuahua.
Thank you so much for this helpful video, Victoria! I wish you could listen to how I sing and give me practical advice or feedback on which area I need to improve on. But for now, I'll just take advantage of your free tutorials..:-)
Thank you
You're welcome!

Awww, thank you, Queen Jami! 💛
Va boom looking good today young lady and you teaching was good too
Good pm mam you are the best of all the best lesson voice pronounce tutorial🙏
Thank you for your sweet comment!
4:57 I find well done: "the lips, the teeth, the tip of the tongue" - I was able to lean that by heart in one gust; and that's because it was laid in rhythm. What I take from here - reflect on consonants and rhythm. No one will easily admit that the rhythm is more important than the lyrics? I follow suit and watch through, eager to know more. Thank you so much so far! P. S. In some other video of yours I found out about the muscles of the mouth exclusively doing the vowels and the consonants, that may be trivial knowledge but should be emphasized here for such kind of beginners as me (surprised to find out that the letter idiom appears as grammatically correct: such kind of beginners as me. Let me know if the AI is wrong - and never mind) who thinks of cords and lungs only. P.S. You didn't say the tongue is first in line, but I think so because of the "meaning" of language. I shall always watch my language :-)
Nice foice
What about the ə vowel sound? Should that be modified? Can it be used advantageously?
Blessings!!!!! P/Sx
❤
So good .. 😍 I really need to practice my diction Mam Victoria 🤭
My work
I'm sicking tired of thisssss.... I LOVE SINGING
No Victoria,
I Love you!
... the lips, the theet, the tip of the tongue!!!!
💕💕💕💕👏👏👏👏👏💕💕💕💕
...not difficult; due to I'm a trilingual guy, English, Spanish, and Swedish Viking...
... but I liked this exercise very much, my dear Master Victoria...
🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
I have a QUESTION:
When I excercise vocally (and I'm not a professional singer) and I go to higher frequencies I start to strain. Is it possibile that I finally eliminate the strain by doing right excercises? I cannot eliminate it right away. It's like the more I think about it the more my brain tells me to use my throat.
Yes, exercises are what build and train the voice, then you need to to apply them to your songs. Make sure that your middle and upper middle voice is comfortable and balanced before jumping into high notes. Here is my video on high notes: Stop Straining on High Notes! 6 STEPS Right Here! ruclips.net/video/vLukxe-dsKg/видео.html
@@Victoria-Victorious Thank You for your reply!

Thank you!
How can I meet you I live how you teach
Ma'am, you're doing well.
☺😎☺😊😉😆😁
How can we sing with breathy voice , the kind of voice in which Ariana Grande sings her song pov or in which Taylor swift sings willow. Is there any exercise to accomplish that ?
I would not sing with a breathy voice unless you are able to sing consistently with clean closure.
@@Victoria-Victorious I am following your videos ..but I don't know what is the proper defination of a perfect closure
Clean closure means that the vocal folds are closing properly. You can tell because your voice will be clear and not breathy, and not tight or squeezed either.
@@Victoria-Victorious Yess for sure i understand now ...one more query was that as beginner hearing my own recording makes me feel that this is not my voice .it sounds dry or not proper too sometimes i dont why this happening?? and it makes me doubt everything i am doing to improve my voice . Do you have any solution to this . ?
These days I am noticing that I can hear a high pitched sound while reciting my answers out loud ....is it related to singing or any exercises ?
It's impossible to tell. That sounds like it might be a medical issue that should be checked out.
@@Victoria-Victorious okayy thank you !
I am going to call you grandma/lola from now on.
I am not able to do those riffs and runs which adds beauty to the song ...why is it happening? .need your help
Singing riffs and runs are an advanced technique. It is on my list for future videos.
@@Victoria-Victorious okayy ... waiting for that video eagerly !🤗
@@Victoria-Victorious to establish runs and riffs what should be the base for it ? Like what do i need to practice well to get ready to learn riffs and runs ?
Practice singing scales at a moderate tempo, then speed up, only going as fast as you can sing the notes accurately. Do the same thing with any fast passages in a song.
@@Victoria-Victorious i understood other things but what is tempo? I heard it for the first time
I sing like I have stuffed nose😂 I need this vid

PLEASE - PLEASE offer your expertise to President Biden! PLEASE He MUST have professional coaching to come across crisp, clear, energetic ,and capable. Perhaps our democracy depends on it. I have my thoughts of course but with your expertise I know you can help him.
On the other hand, if you're maga, nevermind.
I would like to know what you think.
I am a Tier 2 Member and am looking forward to the upcoming workshop and interested in your thoughts.
I know you are not officially a speech coach, but what he needs is vocal distinction cadence, and clarity,. It's okay, even strong sometimes , but not consistent enough, especially when he feels under pressure.
I could help him I know, but I don't have the credentials you do. Whoever may be helping him currently is not cutting it.
Perhaps we can talk more about this soon.
