Record yourself in your practice and also practice while cupping your ears to hear yourself better. And, yes, be aware of the sensations. :)

Got it. Visualizing it as an orchestra is a good strategy. The singer is the conductor of the orchestra and the parts that compose the corporeal instrument are the members of the orchestra. If the it's all well conducted, there will be a ring (like the triangle in the orchestra) to polish it all off.

This is a great reference guide for me to challenge and test my vocal abilities and search for your other videos to find more of the answers. When you teach about singing with a taller soft palate when singing operatic, are you referring to raising your soft palate?

More excellent tuition - and for free! Singing makes me happy and you've taught me how to sing. Thank you, I'm so grateful. Can you consider doing a video analysing singers? George Michael had the greatest voice of all imo - impeccable resonance. Could you talk about his singing if you get a chance? Concert of Hope (1993) is a great example. His singing during One More Try is a particular favourite. Or his cover of Stevie Wonder's They Wont Go When I Go on Listen Without Prejudice vol. 1 album. Thanks again Victoria!!!!!

    • @Victoria-Victorious

No, it does not have an opening for sound waves to escape. Bones may vibrate in the chest and give the speaker/singer a sensation, but this is not adding to the overall sound.

5-10 min a day at least to build in and become habit. As far as how long it will take, everyone’s voice is different and people progress at different speeds. Just keep up the good practice and apply to your songs.

This is a random question, but I wanna find my voice type, and the informations I read says, I need to find my lowest note and my highest note to determine what voice type I am. I did my lowest note using my chest voice, but when I'm about to do my highest note, I get confused. Am I supposed to use my chest voice or my head voice in doing my highest note? I also wanna know, when reaching my highest notes, do I went straight for the highest note itself and sing the highest note I can sing hesitantly, or do I need something that will elevate it? By elevate, I mean starting from the bottom then reaching to my highest note, because that's what I found more comfortable for reaching my highest note. Any thoughts on this?

I generally recommend alto/mezzo-soprano for beginning female singers and bass/baritone for males UNLESS you consider your voice as high. This should work fine, but if not, you have 30 days to exchange for the higher voice type. All of the programs cover 2 1/2 octaves in range.
