This much details is rarely ever seen in vocal training videos. It's crazy how much effort she puts in these videos despite having students to teach offline and online. Hats off!
I'm so glad to have found this woman and her wisdom! She reminds us that it's the artistry and personal expression that makes our voices extraordinary.
I always thought singing was some wizardry, but I'm realizing now that it can be learned like anything else. Best part is, you don't even need anything to start. Cool stuff 👍
Hey Victoria, I am glad to find your channel, your videos are awesome! I'll keep a voice diary for my upcoming work and I'll keep studying with you, thank you so much for creating this great source, much love
I've never heard any other teacher talk about how to mix the resonance of the voice. I'd only heard the terms that you mentioned about sending the voice forward or back ...up into the head or down into the chest
Sometimes you serve to reinforce or substantiate what I was always looking to others for......straight up knowledge and answers. I'm very grateful. I have that skill now, the skill of color and timbre adjusting and it has helped me immensely. I can get, for example, a bright Peter Noone color, or switch into a Gary Puckett darker, sound. (The Gary Puckett is definitely more demanding.) Now if I can just get more gigs.....really tough these days.
Maybe you could try singing while plugging your nose (closing your nostrils) to simulate a cole? That helps some singers open up more in the back of the throat.
Thank you so much ma’am ❤ I’ve been doing this practice it’s really working so fast like magic 😮but I notice the more I hit note or higher note my larynx do comes up from its position,I wonna ask if there’s no problem with that
Ah, if this is happening, I would just focus on your best vowel (AH?) and the moving smoothly and freely to the other vowels. Don't worry about this lesson yet.
Does physical activity have a positive effect on breathing? Does it help with the correct breathing technique? Should singers do something physical activities to sing well?
Physical activity is good for your general health and fitness. The more aware you are of your body in singing, the better you will be. Some singers find that yoga and other deep breathing exercises help.
You asked what I have been wondering. I notice when I do my weigjt training days followed by recording or rehearsals it vastly differs from when I'm not doing my lifting. .....I notice a more open free sound...I think it does help with breathing possibly? I got excited and didn't read all responses. Thanks!!
U can't learn to be an artist, we are all born creative all u can promise is helping people unlock that creativity therefore unleasing the artist within.

My jaw dropped when you sang like the little mermaid.

I need practice to do it, intentionnally and with good control. I can easily change color, but it more intuitive than a technic I master

Such a great instructor! I love her subtle details!
You are by far the best teacher out there………….
Appreciate. You are very knowledgable. This is what I am looking for. ( Got confused about resonating location for awhile).
You're a GEM Victoria!
my 6-8th grade choir is obsessed with you!
Oh, that is so sweet and put a big smile on my face! 😁. Thank you for posting!

thank you
Really beautiful 🥹
You are very cool!!
I sing best when totally congested. I can feel the resonance and follow it! But cold goes away so does the resonance. Have to fight for it crap😊

La
On the bright part i keep on going to high
Just curious whats your zodiac sign? I love your energy!
Can we ask questions?
Thank you so much ma’am ❤

The larynx may float a bit higher as you ascend but it should never jump. See my playlist on the Larynx.
@@Victoria-Victorious thank you so much
7:42 "The seduction Aria. I better not sound like a little girl in that one" 😅 example given.... 😳😳
rewind 15x more and still🤯😥
What if in classical male?
The same principles apply for male or female voices, any style.
@@Victoria-Victorious Thanks, Ma'am. When I open my mouth wide, my resonance changes and it sounds great. 😃
If we low the larynx will have effect on the soft palate too?
Not necessarily.
I've started to ring when I sing high notes. I'm not sure if this is a good thing it gets annoying.
You can reduce the ring. It all depends on what kind of sound you want.
@@Victoria-Victorious It's not necessarily a bad thing and changeable? Thank you for your response.
I can't get the different resonances without pushing the back of my tongue down or raising the larynx too high. Practice with "aw" and "eih"?
Ah, if this is happening, I would just focus on your best vowel (AH?) and the moving smoothly and freely to the other vowels. Don't worry about this lesson yet.
So do you wanna feel the resonance in your face every time you sing? Or just when you want to be brighter? Thanks for your time
