Summer of Sam is a great movie, a little bit misunderstood, I think, but great. If you haven’t watched The Sopranos yet, absolutely go back and watch him in that, too. He took Ben Kingsley to acting school in that show!
His evaluation of Jennifer and Tanya is so interesting and true. Tanya literally saw so many clues towards her demise and she was too absorbed and distracted to even fully realize
I sincerely hope that Michael Imperioli and F. Murray Abrahams are nominated in the Best Lead or Supporting Actor categories of the various TV award giving bodies for their excellent work in season 2 of The White Lotus.
Michael is so tremendous in Sopranos, and I think he was underused in White Lotus. Wonderful actor and seems like a nice person.
