Speaking of ultraman, I've just finished ultraseven and it was pretty good and now I'm watching ultraman taro (I'm two episodes in) also bad news from this week my mom was diagnosed with stage-4 cancer recently.
Taiga's the best of the New Gen imo. It actually has more new kaiju than any other New Gen prior to Blazar, something I wish it got more credit for, especially since I honestly like its new kaiju way more than Blazar's. If some of them don't seem new to you, it's probably because they re-appeared in later entries. I think it also deserves more credit for being an entire toku series based around an anti-racism message before Black Sun did the same thing, only difference being I didn't drop Taiga after four episodes.
The Taiga slip case is the SDCC limited edition slipcase! Probably why no description on it. But just my guess! Surprised cause they said it was not available outside the show!
I'm looking forward to getting Jiban, especially with Ami Kawai (Lami/Scorpina) playing one of the villains. I saw a couple episodes a long time ago, but never got around to finishing it.
I’m extremely interested on your thoughts about Jiban. I want to know if it’s worth picking up and also how the episode quality is. All 52 episodes on one disc sounds a little crazy lol. Recently picked up Sharivan because of your review video on it and I’m really digging it.
@@TokuAndAnimationNewsNetwork I loved Deadpool & Wolverine, seen it twice already. Ever thought about using Thread instead of Twitter? And I’m excited to get both along with all the other DVDs and Blu-Rays I need to get from Mill Creek and Discotek Media
I preordered Ultraman Blazar, kind of mad that they would skip three seasons in between taiga and Blazar. Also to the person whose mom has cancer, I’m feeling for you.
Well it makes sense to Blazar first since it's fresh and the movie just came out on video in Japan. Get it while it is hot. Plus, they'll swing back to the other three. It's not like Blazar is in the same universe either. The only ones that need to be done in order are Trigger and Decker.
@@TokuAndAnimationNewsNetwork fair enough. And I did preorder it but I don’t expect it to come in on the day of it’s release because I preordered it from Barnes and noble and I know that they sometimes use UPS and I’ve had bad luck with it a lot. But I’m not gonna worry about it because I have my sister’s wedding this month so it’s going to be a busy but happy month
Jiban is probably my 2 favorite Metal Hero after Juspion, back then i comment in your Ultraman X review that Taiga was my favorite Ultra series but since then I’ve watched Gaia and The other shows after it and I will say Taiga dropped down on my list but it’s still a really good show.
If you want to know in your juukou b fighter review. Shigeru chiba voices Schwartz the robot villain. Toshimichi takashi voices gigaro who plays doctor bio in Speilvan if you want to mention it in your review.
Here's a update on me. I'm getting through Gekiranger I have three more episodes left of the second arc. I'm enjoying it so far and I'm baffled about how this show failed. The only thing is I can't watch the vs Boukenger movie because I have not seen that season yet and I ain't touching the vs Go-onger movie because I don't wanna watch Go-onger.

Oh shit, I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully she can fight it.

Hmmm, you could be right about the later monsters, but there are a lot of Showa ones in the book.
I can't wait to see you review Mobile Cop Jiban.
I can'tw ait to watch it.

Is it now? I did not know there was a SDCC version. That's cool that that is the version they sent me.
Well, thats what they posted anyway on the official X account. But, I have now seen a few people receive that version! So I’m not sure anymore! 🤷♂️
Have started watching jiban and taiga?
No. I just got them last night. Hoping to start Taiga tomorrow. Jiban will be watched after we finish Taiga.
Heisei Era is the reign of Emperor Akihito 1989 to 2019 and Reiwa era was Emperor Naruhito he ruled Japan now.
Correct.
I’m waiting for my copy of Jiban to ship now 😊
Nice.
Hope Taiga will come out on Tokushoutsu soon
I'm sure it will sooner or later.

Nah, SDBD is able to handle that because files in SD are not that big. As such, a 50GB disc can easily hold 50-ish episodes.
Ah okay good to know. Thanks for that info !
I find it crazy we just got the Taiga Blu-Ray and now they just announced were getting Blazar in October 😭
Yep.

Dr Bio is played by Ichiro Muzuki though.
Takashi voices Dr.bio in the suit.
@@TokuAndAnimationNewsNetwork please do juukou b fighter and b fighter kabuto for October because they have Halloween themed episodes.
Ichiro muzuki appeared in Kamen rider w, Poseidon org in Gao ranger and many songs in tokusatu.
Question will you ever review the next 3 Heisei Ultraseven shows?
I'll get around to them eventually, but I've got too much to do right now.

I'm also confused as to why Geki failed.
