In my opinion Onboarding clients is one of the most important processes to think about in your Private Practice. It is the first experience a client is going to have of working with you and if done right is going to give them the best chance of turning up to their first session.
I’m going to show you step by step how we onboard clients for our therapists using my favourite tool, Google Workspace.

Hello! I am curious what you use to make an electronic form for your clients to be able to electronically sign and fill out! I plan to start a private practice in the UK soon and have been struggling with this one.

Hi Jessica. If you choose to use Google Workspace you can use Google Forms to send out your therapy agreement and any other paperwork. You do not need to get an e-signature for these. You can ask them to type their name to agree to the terms or confirm everything is true and accurate. You can also add a checkbox with the same details and add a date box. All this is sufficiently adequate. If you really wanted to use an e-signature platform my no1 recommendation is Signable and I'll have a video about this is a couple of weeks on my channel so be sure to subscribe and stay tuned 😄
