    I feel like I bent my cutaway side quite similar to yours but mine (rosewood) cracked all the way across in three spots right around the tightest bend.
    Any ideas why this would have happened? I thicknessed to 85 thou

      too thick and what temp? One thing is the time , you need to watch the temp and don't take too long. 250F to 275 will bend most woods. If you loose moisture the wood sets and won't bent

      @@bluescreekguitars3346 my heat pad goes to 150 C which is about 300f. I turned it to max and slowly started bending when steam started. The whole bend took about 7-10 minutes
