Could you please review Emma Chamberlain’s diet again? Her Harper’s Bazaar video was a huge misrepresentation of how she seems to actually eat. She talks about what she eats in pretty much every video, and it a) isn’t nearly enough b) only a handful of different ingredients and c) seems to be the worst possible diet for someone with IBS and cripplingly-painful stomach issues like she has said she has.

Actually in Italy we don’t fry with olive oil. Or at least not in my household. We use seed oil. Olive oil would be wasted if we had to fry something with it. And it burns really easily, so it’s not the healthiest oil for frying. (But I’m from the north, I can imagine people in the south frying with olive oil and I have nothing against it).

@@fabforeverful yes, i’ve noticed that. it seems like she cant or doesn’t realize that most people don’t eat completely balanced, let alone everyday. making yourself eat balanced everyday seems to be counterintuitive to intuitive eating. some days you need more of one thing than others, and ik she knows this, she’s a dietician, but her videos seem to have been swaying towards criticizing regular, not super balanced, but overall healthy diets, rather than her original videos where she criticized big diet culture issues within wieiad videos. it’s more her titles and facial expressions rather than her actual content

Either i starve myself or binge eat
After i started watching her youtube i am really enlightened by the intuitive eating and tbh it really has helped me to make a healthy relation with my food now and for the workouts i do short workouts and dance which i like but the major thing i changed is my mindset
Earlier i used to think that yeah 2 weeks works out and diet and i am gonna loose weight but now i think more about my health and being healthy
Rather than dying for those 2 weels to end and binge massively i made the healthy foods and workouts as my daily routine
I am still on the porcess sometimes i still feel that ohh i am not loosing weight i should starve myself but thenni realise that won't work and everything takes time

    1) I found the sensationalist title and intro unnecessary - along with you picking apart her (taken out of context, from what I'm seeing in the comments) comment about having had "so much [Avocado] for breakfast", it made her diet appear to be much more problematic than it seems to be.

this is probably just me, but my favorite time to watch abbey's videos is during lunch or dinner. it is like having a friend cheering me on, telling me "girl, eat!"

Abby! I am struggling so much with Hunger. I've been trying to do the hunger crushing combo for every meal. And supplementing with a protein shake or Lara bars between meals because I just can't deal. I'm taking metformin and I know youre not a doctor but it's driving me NUTS that I'm thinking about what I'm going to eat next while I'm eating eating a meal or snack. It distracts me from doing my job and getting other things done. I'm sure I'm not alone. I'm already overweight so I'm nervous about eating more since I'm already eating about 2400-3000 calories a day and I cant.stay.full. or atelast not full, but not be chronically hungry all the time
    HELP

I’m not Abby, but until she replies with professional advice I just wanted to ask- are those weight loss macros for you? If so, a little hunger is unavoidable. If it’s really intolerable you might want to eat a little more. You’ll have more energy to train harder! Or just increase the percentage of your food coming from protein? Good luck xx

I was wondering if someone else caught the chicken in the salad. Thanks for being so kind about comments like Natalia's 🙂

Love the video! Do you have any advice for people who have a hard time eating foods they aren't craving in the moment? I tend to get bored very easily with food and I have a hard time getting in enough calories

@@ninalou4629 I agree she is partly to blame as well, but I do feel like cancel culture is toxic in that it doesn’t allow ppl to grow from their past. She made some valid points abt how her privileged life and how normalized this behavior is in her circle masked the severity of what they were doing so she didn’t actually think it was that big of a deal, which makes sense. Now that she’s been made aware of the different layer where it was wrong, she’s admitted she’s regretful that it ever happened. Her parents tho, didn’t grow up that way and def knew better
