This needs to be mandatory. Thank you for putting part 1 linked down below. I will stumble on a video that is part of a series and struggle to find where it starts! Glad to see OG xbox gets some more love lately that isn't halo and modding.
Morrowind was my favourite game on the OG Xbox. I don't think any other game has been able to match its otherworldliness. I know the performance on PC is much better but for some reason I still prefer the Xbox version
Dude this channel rocks. Original Xbox had a ton of great games that weren’t named Halo(mind you I love Halo). Jade Empire also is one of my all time favorites, I’ve been chasing that high ever since.
Part three NEEDS The Bard's Tale. Fun mechanics and dialogue that made me laugh several times despite playing it for the first time just a few years ago.
I heard that Fable Lost Tales was the best version , so I grabbed it on my most recent rep to the retro game store. I think the store clerk jumped a bit when I exclaimed “you have Lost Tales? I’ll take it!”
just finding your channel now, but *LOVING* what i've seen so far! big Xbox fan here, have been since the original released. i'll be sticking around for more Camp Xbox!
Got a like just for Jade Empire. So glad it made the list this time. It's also one of my favorite games of all time! Morrowind is my all time favorite but it has been talked about much more than Jade Empire. Glad to see them both here of course!
Fable will forever be my favorite action rpg for how it hooked me from the 1st game on. Still modding it from time to time, it's so good. Morrowind is also amazing. With the ability to fly it's hands down my favorite Elder Scrolls game.
I bought a copy of Jade Empire a long time ago, never got around to playing it though, still have it. I don't think I ever got the xbox version of Morrowind for myself, but I did play a lot of it on here in the early days via friends' copies. I have the PC version somewhere and spent a lot more time on it there. I'm gonna need to track down an xbox copy sometime. Fable & TLC I still have, bought them brand new at launch. I remember going to my friend's dorm between classes to play it for the first time. I loved playing through that game, many good times. Never heard of Nightcaster though. Didn't get Kotor 2 at the time but found a copy for cheap at a tag sale a few years ago. I've got copies of both this and the original. No mention of Shenmue 2? Probably could have substituted Nightcaster for this one in my opinion...
Thanks for sharing the memories! Yeah I think NightCaster got mentioned more in the comments of that video surprisingly, but I'll definitely include Shenmue 2 later, I love that game!
@@campxbox Word, I'm guessing to spread awareness of Nightcaster, cause again I've never heard of it. Didn't look particularly interesting to my tastes though. One that I forget often is Phantasy Star Online. Admittedly it was better on the Gamecube for a very big reason, double dipping the fees to play. The game required a "Hunter License" monthly subscription to play online regardless of the platform, but on Xbox you also needed to have Live on top of that. Granted, GC did require you to buy the broadband adapter, which I did... and I think like 8 or so games utilized it in total, but still. I sank way more time into PSO than I'd like to admit, thousands of hours across single player, online, and couch co-op. Never got any of my 4 characters to lvl 200, but they were all between 120-170ish. Grinding to 200 was an insane task, and not many people did it. I did acquire just about every rare drop in the game eventually, many through dubious means i.e. dupe/trade, but I did manage to get legitimate drops of some of the most banger equipment. I remember some of them even had better stats than the existing dupes floating around in the economy, so my friends & I started spreading my dupes around for everyone. Good times. Even if I'll probably never play the Xbox version of PSO, I still want to track down a copy for the collection.
Otogi might be a little more of a hack and slash then a rpg but it's it's still one of my favorite forgotten og xbox titles and it's crazy sense it's developed by from software
Something about Jade Empires setting and story that captivated me, i finished it 3 or 4 times i think hoping to find more styles. As for Kotor 2 damn that game was great better than the original, i like the darker mysterious vibe it had to it.
Jade Empire and Morrwind are even better to go back to now since they run at 60fps with higher resolution on modern xbox consoles. Jade Empire and KOTOR had some issues playing them on a 360, especially KOTOR.
Microsoft ignores its own legacy, we got some solid exclusives duiring xbox and xbox360 eras, they may sold poorly, but they are the identity of your console, now Xbox only is a poor version of PC which is kind of sad.
Thank you so much for watching!

Just play it on the xbox one now, it runs at 60fps.
thousand cuts! One of my favorite things about Jade Empire was finding new fighting styles. They were all so different. Man I miss old Bioware.
I loved the original Fable. Fable 2 is my favorite and I’m eagerly awaiting the reboot.
I'm excited for the reboot too. I really hope Playground Games does a good job with it.
@@campxboxYou guys haven't been paying attention.
The reboot looks horrible.
Morrowind is my favorite game of all time but Jade Empire was so good. Always preferred Kotor 2 as well to the first.

I'm glad you are enjoying the channel! Totally agree the OG Xbox is full of gems.
Part three NEEDS The Bard's Tale. Fun mechanics and dialogue that made me laugh several times despite playing it for the first time just a few years ago.
That would be a great addition! I actually played that for the first time recently too and had a lot of fun with it.
Man I haven't thought of Nightcaster in well over a decade. Very simple combat but overall an enjoyable game.
Man I love the original Fable. The music was just so good for that game.
Fable has some of my all time favorite video game music. Summer Fields is so good.
I heard that Fable Lost Tales was the best version , so I grabbed it on my most recent rep to the retro game store.

Aw, I was hoping to see X-Men Legends 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance.
Fable was the game back then. And it is still worth checking out.

Part 2 hype!
Randomly stumbled on your channel with the bond video appearing on my recommended. I can say finally YT got a good recommendation. Def got my sub
Thanks for the sub! I'm glad you enjoy the videos!
Otogi might be a little more of a hack and slash then a rpg but it's it's still one of my favorite forgotten og xbox titles and it's crazy sense it's developed by from software
Oh yeah Otogi and its sequel are fantastic. Definitely ones that more people should check out.
I think fable is awesome!
So many gems back then on these old consoles, was wondering if you ever played ininja? Definitely was a unique title for me
Yeah I played it back in that and I remember having a lot of fun. I need to revisit it.
Something about Jade Empires setting and story that captivated me, i finished it 3 or 4 times i think hoping to find more styles. As for Kotor 2 damn that game was great better than the original, i like the darker mysterious vibe it had to it.
Those morrow one load screens were long enough to smoke a joint and eat a sandwitch

Remember when Bethesda had good games..?.....
I remember 😂
Fabel my first rpg so good beat it 20 times
LOTR: The Third Age :)
That one is so good. I have fond memories of playing that one. I really need to revisit it.
Ok ive got one Shin megami tensei nine yes even rarer than an rpg on the xbox it's a jrpg and man it's kinda bad especially for smt standards.
I really need to try that one. I was thinking of doing an episode just on Japanese Xbox exclusive RPGs.
gj
I loved fable it was the first game where I could find that one gay guy and get married 😂, I think that’s how I found out I was gay 😅
Fable was ahead of its time in so many ways! And now it's almost old enough to drink 🥲
I actually do not like playing with mods, because mods are not canon.

Microsoft used to have some bangers...now they just suck. Xbox One killed everything.
