Love your dice and move zooms. It's very worth it and better than most of the other play throughs I watch (at least more exciting for given rolls than static high view most people use).

That means a lot! Thanks so much for the kind words. Hopefully eventually we’ll have better cameras and equipment to make it even better.

What I love about you're Let's Plays is the banter around the game, I don't think I really care what game it is.

That means a ton, Nick. Thank you so much! We always have a good time recording them :)

Just recently picked up this game, watching this playthrough has made me hyped. Great banter between you two made this a joy to watch!

22:10 At the start of the game each Hero was supposed to forfeit one card randomly. So this event could've happened. The Heroes should've had limited options to move around at the start of the game until they got the forfeited cards back.

I use house rule when attacking guards. Roll die first, then pay it +1. Shield is still fail and pay 1.

That was a very interesing playthrough and end.

Excellent Jonathan! Glad you thought so. I also wasn’t nearly as interested in it before actually playing it.

When you attack a guard don't you have to commit an amount of trust first and then roll the dice, so there is an element of push your luck? You can commit only 2, but then you only have a 1 in 3 chance of succeeding, commit 3 and you have a 2 out of 3 chance, commit 4 and its a 5 out of 6 chance. When you played you were rolling the dice and then seeing how much you should spend.

Yes you are correct. The way they played I thought I was doing it wrong.....lol.

It’s the veteran’s unique ability that he decides after the roll whether to pay or not

Could you consider putting preview in the title for Kickstarter previews?

    • @Tablenauts
      @Tablenauts  2 года назад

Hmm, I’m certainly open to it! Though I’ve always considered playthroughs and previews to be very different beasts. Why do you feel it would help? No wrong answers, I’m just curious!

@@Tablenauts I see what you mean about playthrough vs preview. The thing is, when it is a crowdfunding campaign, it changes the motivations and content. It's helpful when one word in the title that says "if you're not into unfinished components/rules that can't get for 1+ years, keep scrolling."
Maybe Playthrough AND Preview, or Kickstarter Playthrough? 🤷
When I find a video after scrolling for ages and click on it, then realize it's kind of basically an ad, then back out.... to the top of friggin videos again. Then have to scroll allll the way past that video again and onto the next.
      Not necessarily ideal.

@@BrandonGraham you could always right click the link, open in a new tab and boom, you don’t lose your place in your search for the perfect video

@@kyleking2410 I would imagine that most viewers are on their mobile device.
But on a PC, you can just click the link with your middle mouse and save a little work. 😉
