So as we welcome in 2024 and look forward to another thrilling twelve months of Masterverse releases, we would like to take a look back at the year that was... and rank the Top 10 Masterverse figures of 2023.

Definitely buzzoff is my favorite of the year. And the second issue trapjaw and man at arms. The movie skeletor and he-man ❤😂
Awesome choices! Movie Skeletor is so awesome. I actually considered him as a 2022 figure not 2023, but while I mentioned him in that year's top 10, he didn't rank for me. But I still love that figure, very much! He's so cool. 🙂

This year I expect to grab at least 3-4 figures from the masterverse line (including the highly rated TWO-BAD)!

my crippling addiction to origins and cgi toys made it hard for me to keep up with waves 8 to 11, aj 😅

my top 5 2023 masterverse :
5. prince adam (my favourite
animated prince !
not the fanciest figure but i
LOVE LOVE LOVE it when they
make adam figures and i am
✨️ coveting ✨️ that sparkling
power sword, it's sublime !
i love transparent plastic)
4. meg ryan evil-lynn
(revelation's dark lynn was
nearly my #4 but i don't really
want to have one character
showing up twice in the same
list. i do ADORE dark-lynn and
she is my first mattel creations
figure but what can i say.....
i just like the meg ryan figure
more. never thought we'd ever
get a figure of her.)
3. man-e-faces (sooooo many
display features 😍
like srsly, HOW many other
motu figures come with
5 faces ?! 😭
he even comes with a gosh
darn suitcase for them all,
that's EXTRA AF omg!)
2. grizzlor (i am a SUCKER for
mixxed media figures. give me
fur, cloth parts, rubber parts
anytime. when i was a little girl,
i always loved dressing
up my dolls in nice outfits/coats,
so that could be why this
grizzlor appealed so much to
me ig)
1. motherboard (it's like a mondo
figure for a masterverse price,
that's total bliss ! and she's
arguably the most unique
figure in the whole mv line,
i mean....she really stands out
amongst the other figures for
being so tall. i am ALL about
characters from motu's deep
lore getting the spotlight, that
to me was one of the BEST
things about motu classics,
the fact that so many different
characters from across the
franchise got figures and i feel
that with masterverse, we can
have that again. masterverse
can be the modern day version
of classics. every character
is somebody's childhood fav,
so give us as all the characters
mattel ! 🙏🏽 also, i respect the
level of forethought and talent
that goes into recreating a 2d
animated character into a 3d
figure. mattel did a sensational
job of taking motherboard from
the screen to the real world,
i would say that she looks a lot
better than most of the other
masterverse figures based on
revelation/revolution
characters. easily my number 1)

Man-E-Faces, Dark-Lyn, Movie-Lyn, Grizzlor, all of them almost placed. This list was unbelievably tough for me to put together especially when they are all displayed out in front of you. For a little while I was toying with having a top 15. But no, I sat myself down and said "Make the tough decisions AJ, make the tough decisions!" 😄
@@foreterniaofficial 😂😂yeah, when i saw them standing there, grizzlor and man-e-faces, i thought that they were going to be on the list 😅 but it's okay, i like to think that all of the guys standing around the winners were like the runners-up/honorable mentions. also, sorry about the weird formatting of my list, i actually wrote that comment from my cellphone whilst i was laying in bed. lol
ps webstor is a gem of a figure and i totally see him being my own number 1, only i still have to purchase him. i do kinda wish his spider legs were a little longer/came out a bit more but his sculpt, paintjob, articulation and accessories MORE than make up for it....oh and the transparent eyes are to die for ! so eerie and cool

The stands I am currently using are NECA Figure Display Stands in black. They come in packages of 10 and range $15-20.
Finally! I've been eagerly awaiting this list from you. But ranking NE Trap Jaw so low is a crime against toys.

Perhaps you are right, Perhaps Trap Jaw should have been higher on the list. To be honest it was a real struggle to rank all.of these this year. There were so many good figures to choose from!

It's like you said, so many great figures. That's why this year it was really difficult to pick a Top 10, much more difficult than last year. 2023's figures felt a lot closer in quality and coolness! 🙂

I only got two--Man-E-Faces and Faker (because vintage and 5.5 is my focus), but I do like them. Gotta love that "Zoar eyes" pun too!
I love both of those figures! Man-E-Faces almost made the list too. (This year was extra difficult to narrow down to just then figures.)

Thanks Mike! You know I love the Webstor character madly, but I definitely wouldn't rank him on this list, let alone #1, if I didn't think he deserved it. Mattel really pulled out all the stops with him especially with engineering! 🙂

Wow! This was so ironic. I was posing my Webstor figure while watching this video. Unfortunately my Webstor figure was missing his grapple gun and I was unable to return the figure. I might have to get a second one.

You're missing grapple gun? What a bummer. I hope you can find another one at a reasonable price, because if you haven't checked recently, Masterverse Webstor prices have really skyrocketed. It's pretty crazy for Masterverse.
