Stay away from Pensacola. There is a shop up there falsely claiming to be BOSCH Authorized Service Center. They are an authorized reseller, and that is a big difference.
Hi there, my wife and I planning to to the the panamerican hwy, in your opinion which sprinter is the most reliable without caring the year? Or which years stay away ? I know in South America is plenty of parts and mechanics.
I would definitely want a 2004-2006 Sprinter. 2007 and later models will have additional headaches like DPF then in 2011 adding DEF. The 2007+ feel like a Dodge product to me, vs the T1N Sprinter which is clearly a Mercedes product with Dodge and Freightliner plastic identifiers stuck on. 2002 & 2003 have a finicky negative pressure fuel system and less OBD capability so the 2004-2006 is the sweet-spot. They have an unmatched community of support and cultish following.
0088 is a generic code and our vans don't speak generic so your van's OBD didn't produce that code. 1-on-1 support is a member benefit. Please help make more videos and advice possible with just 46 cents a day by join our support group at patreon.com/Florida_Van_Man?Link&
