That’s actually why I went with “darkness’ empire” - it’s a common motif in English language prayers. It’s a powerful stanza that really brings out the ‘holy’ part of the Sacred War.

For example, I can sing Spanish songs with near perfect pronunciation, but I don't understand most of the stuff I'm saying and could never speak Spanish fluently. I know that a double "L" in Spanish produces an English "y" as in "you" sound; R's at the beginning of words or R's that are doubled are rolled; an N with a tilde is pronounced like an English "nya"; that words with no accents usually have emphasis on the second last syllable, and that vowels with accents over them ignore the second last syllable rule and are emphasized instead. Once you are fluent in the pronunciation of a language, singing a song in it is just making those noises with melody, something that is not particularly difficult.
