If this is about the US election, I have to say I’m not super into American politics but I do know about tariffs. Tariffs, when analyzed in a silo, are a terrible idea. The obvious result is that they drive the prices of goods up and make life harder for everyday people. However, analyzing them in a silo demonstrates a lack of critical thinking skills. The real reason tariffs are put in place is because when prices go up, consumers are eager to give their businesses to other companies who can sell the same goods more cheaply, and that opens up opportunity for domestic companies. It also incentivizes the greedy corporations who outsourced their production and labor to bring those back to the USA. So tariffs, if done correctly are NOT a bad idea, and could have very favorable outcomes for the USA, but they are absolutely a gamble where it could go 50/50 and prices could just go up and the companies hold fast and don’t budge. TLDR: they are a calculated risk, and can’t just be applied as a blanket across multiple industries or you will devastate your economy.

@@lucas3918 it isn’t quite a direct translation, but most of the lyrics are based on a modified version of the original Polish lyrics, which were further modified to drop all references to Warsaw.
