If I had to guess, he probably didn’t do the pre-chill process that is recommended for all rotomolded (and other highly insulated) coolers. If you skip that step, the performance will be only moderately better than a traditional cooler
We went to Florida with the family and our 65 rtic out performed the in laws yeti. But I pack it with frozen waterbottles and I find it preforms best when the ice is contained. It also does great with a couple of frozen two litters. I do sometime put loose ice in around it.
My rtic 65 held ice for for days. Just have to pack it full. If ya just put ice in it and expect it to last for days it won’t happen. With any decent cooler. In my opinion.
Yesterday I wanted to see if my car had good gas mileage - ran out after just a short trip. Don’t know how much was in it, and only banged the rev limiter 3 times. Nope, piece of shite.
I don’t really get these test my kids in and out all day night putting hot cans of pop water and beer real test is that not shutting it with just ice nothing in it if I get 2 days with ice I’m happy with that
Yeti fan boy 😂100% 👍
Still looks like there is ice in the water. Keeping things cool.

If you're constantly opening and closing your cooler, you're not going to have ice. That looks like a drink cooler, which gets opened and closed a lot
Puts 20 lb of ice in it and is pissed at last 3 days 🤡🤣🤣🤣🤣
Not even lmao
Mine held ice in Texas summer heat for a weekend of camping. 🤷🏽♂️

Dude probably put one bag and expected it to last a week😂🤦🏽♂️
The trick is puttin in cold cans in there, it'll hold a lot longer.
Have to prechill the cooler. Multiple test online show they hold up yetis and the rest of toto molded brands
Yeti groupie confirmed
Rtic beats yeti no doubt about I’ve tried

Typical city slicker. Left the lid open to prove his point and couldn’t run the test with all the same steps 😂😂
Nope? I’m looking at ice in that cooler. Lol
