I’m glad I saw you write over the Distress Stains. I have a large set of InkTense pencils but I didn’t know about coloring over dried InkTense. And the gesso technique looks great. Color swatches around the edges is another great idea. I don’t have a mini printer yet but my regular Canon prints well at home. My art supplies stash is worth a bit of $$. But when I don’t like something, even if it isn’t all used up, I pass it along to another artist. Sharing the wealth. Hoping your washi tapes will be in stock again so I can round out my washi stash.
your actions are how my mind is...you drop sentences the way I do and drop your actions the way I do...after I watched you now I know how crazy I run my family in my actions and body language & speech...you are my kindred spirit...thank you...i could follow your every step...lol...i luv your pencils and dobbers
I haven't even finished watching it yet... But I just have to say that your desk gives me the feels... I can relate to your beautiful mess and it's soooooo refreshing after seeing (way too many) perfectly styled desk/journal spaces! Yassssss girl!
+Sara Berry That's so cool! I'm glad it made ya happy. :D It was frustrating me a bit. I CAN'T create with a perfectly clear desk...but that mess was ridonculous! haha! ;)
Was watching this late last night and finished watching today. You did great! I'm sorry you had trouble with your tripod, and yes, I know this was 7 years ago, but the thought remains. I love your videos. You are just always so real.
i think this journal with me was imperfectly perfect:) you made mistakes just like we all do and you rolled with it. it was awesome. i too love the inktense pencils. i think what you need is a heat gun to dry your wet areas before you add something on top. the best thing about the inktense is that once dry they're permanent. definitely perfect for layering. oh and if you like those clear die cuts then you would probably love clear photo stickers. i use them all the time on my pictures. joanns dot com has a bunch of different set. really cute. tfs!!
+foundandmade Thank you!!! I do have a heat gun...I just didn't want to warp my photos behind the page. I love the layering capabilities of the Inktense pencils. That's why I purchased them. :) I will totally check those photo stickers out. Thanks again!!! xoxo
The moment I read the "Hey Y'all" I knew you were the girl for me!!!!!!! You are just stinking adorable And I just felt like I found a new friend!!!!! BTW don't criticize yourself so much!!!!!! You did great!!
I agree with Missy, you are such a talented artist. The self beating was pretty heavy on this video. You are a great inspiration stop beating yourself up, its a bit distracting =P
Love it! This was super fun to watch and there are NO failures :) It is fun to watch the process and see how you created three very cool pages!! Thanks so much for taking us along! Christy
+Cynthia You definitely will. As SOON as I figure out how the tripod won't be all up in my goodies!!!! HAHA! I really enjoyed putting this video together though. The time-lapse vids are always fun! ;)
What I have done and sometimes forget..is keep my art work separate and reach out on my art supplies on the far right and left leaving an imaginary sacred line. But yes you are right more room gives your creativity less restrained. I loved it .. Learning a lot from you. I am not usually a writing journal with art. I may write down a phrase or write nothing, the rest is art. So again I loved it.. and enjoy doing what I am doing while your on the other side for encouragement. Plus your darn funny crack me up .. and yes I realize this video is 2015.
I just subscribed and enjoy journaling also... I normally just journal and not much if any decorating... In your opinion what is a good non bleeding journal pen??
can you share more about your little printer you have....it looks like you printed from your phone...how cool! you did great....I can tell your mind it working all the time....what great ideas!
Checking out some of your older videos. You're so funny and spontaneous. I can relate to going through a period of being absent from journaling. I just restarted Bujo journaling after having been away from it since February. I didn't plan to be away from it that long, it just happened, life happend. But I am disappointed becuase I know I have so many thoughts that didn't get recorded. So I'm' working on getting back in the routine again. I also find I am more productive when I keep up with it. I really enjoy your videos!
I loved this video (like all of your videos)! It's refreshing to see how you adapt when things don't go as planned. It all works out! The main thing is you are enjoying what you are doing. Please keep the videos coming! : )
+Queenmom313 YES! Hoping that it encourages others to just roll with it. And give themselves permission to NOT be perfect! :) Thanks so much for your comment and love!!
Love these journaling videos - and I'm binge watching apparently. Also, I really like the "see-through elements" but doing a search on that, well, er, I don't think I was getting the results I wanted - are they just found in the scrap-booking isle, because I think that's a safer way for me to go with that. I really just want to say, you are such an inspiration, I'm journaling each day, putting photo's in and I want to add more "decor" to it - I've finally been using my stash of scrapbooking stuff to some extent (no see through elements in there though) and I'm excited to keep going. Bought my first Distress stains today (on sale at Michaels) and some more washi....it's too fun to pass up. Thanks again, Ali!
+Christianne Gerstner, CZT Thank you so much for sharing!!! I make my own 'see through' elements now. It's super fun!!! I also like to get the Hambly screen print transparencies and use them. Thanks again for watchin' and for taking the time to comment!!!
+rubysashaknits WOW! That is a HUGE compliment!!! Thank you so much! I OVERthink EVERYTHING else in my life. This is the one place where I give myself permission to just do what I feel in the moment. It's SO liberating and that's why it's so good for me to decompress. Thank you again!
Yes I’m commenting on a video from four years ago 😂. I wonder if Ali will notice 😉. I’m having a whole Ali Brown marathon. I can’t believe I’ve never heard of those stains. They are so awesome! Also the random crap bag is everything!!!
This was SO helpful and inspiring! I'm sorry that it was kind of uncomfortable for you, but I want you to know I had no idea until you said so at the end. It is great--I'm planning to get some of the tools you used because I agree: it's easier with the right tools!
Hey Ali, I just 'discovered' your videos and let me say I just love your journal with me vids! I've already learned so much and your video on the selphy printer was amazing! That along with the distress stains was an eye-opener for me. I have a ton of Tim's products but not the stains...go figure-lol! You have just taken my journaling to another level. Thanks so much!
+rungirl2008 HEY THERE! Welcome to my little creative corner! :) Thanks so much for stoppin' by and takin' the time to comment! I LOVE hearing folks excited about journal art!!! Those stains are so awesome! Makes a plop of color on a page so easy. Hope we can see some vids or pics on IG. :) Thanks again for watchin'!!! xoxo
Just discovered you and am in LOVE! Thanks for being authentically imperfect, it's so inspiring! I'm not creative and most definitely not an artist, but art Journaling calls to me. I don't know what I'm doing, I get a lot of mud colors, but will keep trying. Will you please please make a video about midori and hobonichi journals for us newbies? Why you like them, etc. What makes them good for art Journaling? Is the paper really good? Thank you so much for making art journal accessible to us non creative wannabes 😙
Thank you so much for your kind words and love! I want you to start saying that you ARE creative. :) Because you were created to create and just need to walk in your identity as a creative. :) I LOVE that you are trying. THAT is what it takes. Truly. That is all I have done. :) I have a video that kind of explains why I like the Traveler's Notebook for journaling..you can find it here: ruclips.net/video/ijamFcFa_zQ/видео.html Hope that helps! It's an oldie! ;)
That was really fun!!! I enjoyed the video so much.. you are really cute and funny. And about your table, I guess that's how it supposed to look like. With all the ideas you have in mind and things u wanna do, your desk should look messy and I like that (makes me accept the fact that my desk is messy too :D ) The journal looks great and loved that it doesn't have to look perfect since life isn't perfect.. You are great!! keep the good work.. :)
+Asmaa Ezzeddine Yup...I just have to accept it I guess...my messy desk. There is a point where it's so bad that I can't create, but if it's too clean I can't create either. It's gotta be that perfect balance of chaos. HAHA! Thanks so much for your encouraging words and for watchin'!!! xoxo
Ali I love it!! Did you ever think of throwing a mix of a bunch of your favorite things together in a "goodie box" type of way for purchase? like different amount levels from $25 on up to like $100 goodie boxes? I think this would be an amazing thing for anyone but especially for someone like my that is getting ready to start this for the first time.. ;) The boxes could include your favorite paper inserts, pens, markers, paints, stencils, tape, stamps and stickers.
+Tiffany C I had thought about it, but the investment is very large and I wouldn't be making much profit for the time involved in curating and assorting/packaging. It's a fun thought, but at this time, I'm not able too. Perhaps in the future. :) Thanks so much for your idea!!! xoxo
i just watched your intro (about to watch the rest of the video) but did you know that Tim Holtz came out with a Distress Glaze that you can now put over the Stains and Inks that make them permanent? It's super cool. So now you can layer stuff on top of stuff.
So are SOOOO much fun! I swear I am THAT messy, and I'm glad to know I'm not alone. About the tabletop situation, I use a selfie stick with my phone, and I strap the stick to the underside of a shelf that hangs over the tabletop. If you can fold in the stands of your camera's tripod, and make a straight stick from it, and move your filming setup to a table with a shelf or something hanging over it, that can work.
+maryannemoll Hey there! Thank you so much!!! I actually now have a fantastic tripod to use with my camera. I film with a Canon 5D Mkiii so it's a bit heavy and I have to have a sturdy tripod for it. Thanks so much for the suggestion though! And for watchin'!!! xoxo
Okay, I am waaaay behind watching YT again but I always save your videos so I make sure not to miss a single one! This one is so fabulous that I will watch it again! You say you are inspired by Little Ink's videos, well I am inspired by your videos!!! And now I really want to try those Inktense pencils, I have watercolour pencils but I really want to try these as they are permanent ink like you said! I hope you figure out a better set up to film this type of video because I really want to see more!!! Pleeeeaaasse!! :)) xoxo Karen
I enjoyed it! I'm still trying to figure out if I want to use my midori or my fauxbonichi.....ugh....why is that such a hard decision? I loved how you used all the colors. I think that is what is throwing me off, I don't like just a white page and all I have right now are watercolors. anywhooo....have a great day!
+Rhonda_Robson Watercolors can give you pops of color. :) Add a little bit of washi, photos and some doodling with some fun pens and your good to go! Hoping you can find some peace there with that decision. I know it stinks being in journal limbo!!! xoxo
I apologize if you have already answered this...but what printer do you use to print the pictures for your journal? I love the way you do them, and am looking for a printer to use (mine bit the dust years ago). Any little bit helps! Thanks! =)
+Jamie Hooker Hey there! I use the Canon Selphy CP910 for all my journaling printing. I JUST posted a big ol' review of it here: ruclips.net/video/ELVr_89N5rY/видео.html Perhaps you'll find it helpful. I used to print on my desktop printer, but since I bought the Selphy, I don't think I'll EVER go back...haha!!! Thanks so much for watchin'!!! xoxo
I love the video and your journal! I am an artist and I do paintings for a living. I think is hilarious how you said you are an advance 5 years old artist!
I have to get one or two of those stains I have the distress markers but they are okay guess I'm still learning with those. Which of the stain Colorado you recommend me getting that work or look the best.
+Donna Panzardo Well, I started out with Mustard Seed, the Raspberry color, and Broken China. :) I have a video on a ton of the other colors if you'd like to see. You can see it here: ruclips.net/video/4It70Y-swdg/видео.html
+Ali Brown they remind me of the bingo dabblers that my mom and aunt used when I was young wonder if that was how they came up with these. I saw your other video after I saw this one. All I can say is it is hard to resist getting them all. But I bought two months of the listersgottalist kits and have not used any of that stuff so I need to resist buying too many and stick with just getting one will check next time I go to Joann's or hobby lobby maybe they have the colors you selection and see which one jumps in my cart. Lol.
I LOVE Inktense pencils. You may also want to check out neo color II's. (Just make sure they are II's, they are the ones that blend very well and layer in awesomeness.)They are AMAZING for journal pages. I plan to try them on my midori paper very soon. Love your videos so much. xoxo
Quick question for you? How do you journal over the distress ink without re activating it again? Won't it smudge the ink of whatever pen you are writing with? What are the best pens to use?
+Alisha Franco The distress stain dries pretty quickly. And I use heat gun now to speed up the process. I use fountain pens with bullet proof ink to journal or a find sharpie pen. Both work great! Hope that helps!!!
Hi Ali, I really enjoy your videos. I see you are art journaling in a Midori insert. What paper are you working on and is it good enough for wet mediums. I make my own journals and I would like to know what paper it is since it seems thin, but also can take the wet stuff. Thanks so much!!
+Juliana Beasley It's just the Midori 003 insert that used the Midori paper. I'm not sure if you can purchase Midori paper by itself. I've never looked into that. BUT, I have been journaling with Tomoe River paper and it's making the watercolors behave so beautifully. Not sure how it would take mixed media though. Maybe I'll try soon. Hopefully that helped some. :)
I loved this so much. I wish I could hire you to buy me everything I need to start my journaling. I love the art, and I love watching you, I love being your Mommy I remember how much fun it was watching you grow up into the beautiful Godly woman you are. Muah!!!
I'm surprised that no one mentioned the trusty Slick Writer markers, in any of the comments!?! U can write & on Any Washi, plastic or slick surface....Instant Dry & no smearing!! :) I get mine at ACmoore, sold as single $1.99. Also, Tim Holtz has some real cute lil Metal Clips, with red rubber tips, that would hold ur TN open & free up Both hands while u work?? :) Actually, even a clothes pin wld do the trick too! Luv ur videos...just very transparent & real...and besides, its obvious that U allow Jesus to shine thru U!
+craftygirlm4 DUDE!!!!! I need to find those slicky markers!!! :D Thankfully, I got smart and moved my inserts around so that I could have my pages not be so...rebellious! haha!!! Thank you so much for watching and for the best compliment of all!!! That you see Him in me! xoxo
I really enjoyed this! Don’t apologise for being you! And, life is like that (imperfect) but I’m glad you left in things that didn’t work, there’s hope for me yet! Xxx
Love your video! I'm totally obsessed with the Distress Stains as well!!! Which Midori notebook do you use for the journal part? I've seen where Midori has one that has more pages, but thinner paper. Any recommendations?
+Smokey Fireside Creations I use the 003 Midori insert currently, but am gonna use a Chic Sparrow insert after this one is finished up. :) Oh wait...I think I answered this in another comment. HAHA! Sorry! I'm just now gettin' the time to respond to everyone. ;) Thanks for watching!! xoxo
I use a Canon Selphy printer and use the Selphy app to print from my phone to the little printer. I have an in-depth review of the Selphy printer here if you'd like to check it out :) ruclips.net/video/ELVr_89N5rY/видео.html
oooohhh wowww. u hv got allot of washitape nd soo much of stickers nd all those creative things. i wish had such a big collection of things like u do. lol i am new to ur channel but hey! i am gonna subscribe u ryt away. u r the biggest inspiration. i hv watched soo many journaling tutorials but this one was the bessst!!
Love watching your videos!! I always look forward to them :) I just purchased some Sakura Decorese Gel ink pens from JetPens and they work great on glossy photos! They come in really fun colors too. Your videos inspired me to get a Canon Selphy printer and I LOVE it! Thanks for all your great posts!
Loved this video!!! Definitely going to have the check out those Ink Tense Pencils (no idea if I spelled that correctly)! Anyway, I love how your journal turned out:) If your desktop is driving you crazy, may I suggest using clear acrylic bins? I use them for my stickers and washi tapes and that seems to work great. Not sure if that would work for you and your desk. Please keep doing videos with whatever device you want! I'll keep watching. I always learn something new and inspirational:) Thank you so much!
+Amy Fentress I have this adorable thing for my washi tapes and also some cute vintage cups for pens, pencils and paintbrushes. I haven't totally recovered that area from vacation and started a happy mail project and it was awful. I do like my creative space a tiny bit messy...but that was just wrong the way it was for the video!!!! HAHA!!!! ;)
I think it might be time for a desk tour video!!! I'd love to see your madness, LOL! I can't lie, I'm looking around mine right now and it is ridiculous! I just think us creative folk are meant to have creative spaces:) Oh, I checked out the Inktense Pencils and woman, those darn things are expensive at Michaels! Then I looked around and they weren't so bad at Wal-Mart and a few other places. I may just have to get me some of those and give them a go. Also, I blame you entirely for two trips to AC Moore and Michaels to buy Tim Holtz Distress Stains. Entirely your fault:) I love them though, hehe...I got Spiced Pumpkin, Dusty Concord and Crushed Olive. They came in a pack of 3 otherwise that Crushed Olive color would not have come home with me. I am not a fan. Anyway, I tried them and LOVE them. They did bleed through my little 20 lb. paper that I make my booklets with so I'll be beefing up my paper for the next round. Thanks for always sharing your info! I really enjoy learning new things to use in journaling. Hope you have a great week and sorry this is a book!
+Amy Fentress Oh dang! MY mess?!? Yup. The pencils are a pretty penny. I got mine with a 40% off coupon at Michaels but I think you can get them under $30 on Amazon. :) PUMPKIN SPICE?!?!?! That is a color I MUST see. ;) I love everything fall and pumpkin Spice!!! I'll take the blame for it all. No worries. Haha! And I'm sorry for the bleeding. I am still on the hunt for the perfect paper. Thanks so much for watching and I loved the reading of your book. Truly! ;) xoxo
+Sara Berry Ok. Let me see if we can narrow it down...I'm still not sure. ;) Did I use them in this video to do the actual journaling with, write on the pictures, or color and doodle?
I read somewhere that you can print out matte photos from the selphy by selecting another option. Here's what it said: 1) press "menu" 2) "change settings" 3) under the print finish option, use arrows to select "glossy" and "pattern 1" for matte like photos. She wasn't sure what pattern 2 was. Have you tried this? Maybe it would be more susceptible for your jelly roll pens? Would love to hear how it works if you try it out! :)
+Jacqueline Reape Ok sisterrrr....YOU are a game changer! I totally tried this and the photo was not matte, but MORE matte-ish than it usually is. It still is a bit difficult to write with the WHITE jelly pen, but the others it was much easier! THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing that!!!
love your style! So much inspiration! Just discovered you. Can you please tell me what kind of traveller's notebooks you use and where you get them from? Thanks so much!
Can I say that I just absolutely love your honesty and "out of brain onto the tongue" statements? You make me laugh. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE your hair! So gorgeous! And everytime I see you have a new video........I can't wait to watch it. Do I sound like your cheerleader? You are just so dang cute and refreshing! Still anxiously awaiting the video of "why" you're living in the church and how that came about.........love you girlfriend!
Girl what are you talking about? I've already seen it......gone to the website....checked everything out about ya'll......and NO I'm not a stalked.....I love PRAYER and I love what ya'll are doing! I hope you are going to see "War Room" this week.....girl we about shouted all over the theatre last night! It's awesome!
Suzanne Light Oh neat! Prayer is everything. I haven't heard of the movie. We can be hermits sometimes because of all that we do here. So I will totally check it out! :)
Oh girl you have to check it out. Priscilla Shirer wrote it and stars in it. Beth Moore has a guest appearance. It is all about prayer! You will love it! It goes right along with your ministry.
+Laura Prestwich I looked SO many placed today for that dern pen!!! Haha! Where do you get them? I guess I could go with trusty Amazon...but was hoping for instant gratification. ;) Thanks for sharing the info with me. Excited to try it out!!!
Derwent Inktense, if you give me the timestamp where you saw that pen, I can tell ya. Sorry! I don't have the time to re-watch the video to check. I have SOOOO many pens. ;) Thanks for watching! xoxo
I recently discovered your channel and it's been such a joy going through all of your videos! Thank you for inspiring me to be creative on a more regular basis. Your videos make me so happy! PS what are you using to print your pics??
+Adriana You're so welcome! I use a Canon Selphy printer to print out my pictures. I have a pretty in-depth review of it here: ruclips.net/video/ELVr_89N5rY/видео.html Thanks so much for watching!!! xoxo

+SweetZyrah I use a Canon Selphy printer. I have an in-depth review on it here if you'd like to know more about it: ruclips.net/video/ELVr_89N5rY/видео.html Hope that helps!!! xoxo
I love that you just "go with the flow" while your creating your pages

Thanks - I feel fairly safe searching "Hambly Screen Print Transparencies" ;)
Love your process, it's all exploration and child like wonder, we all need that in our lives! You inspire me to loosen up and let the colours flow :)

:) Thanks again for watchin'!!! xoxo
You are adorable, you have a great personality and you are way too hard on yourself! Love your videos and I think your journals are awesome!
I want to start journaling but I don't know what to write! So I was hoping for some inspo. What do you write about in your journal?
I love your journal. It's awesome!
+Maria Guzman Thank you!!! xoxo
Totally fun to watch.
With all the ideas you have in mind and things u wanna do, your desk should look messy and I like that (makes me accept the fact that my desk is messy too :D )
The journal looks great and loved that it doesn't have to look perfect since life isn't perfect..
I think this would be an amazing thing for anyone but especially for someone like my that is getting ready to start this for the first time.. ;)
The boxes could include your favorite paper inserts, pens, markers, paints, stencils, tape, stamps and stickers.
+Tiffany C I had thought about it, but the investment is very large and I wouldn't be making much profit for the time involved in curating and assorting/packaging. It's a fun thought, but at this time, I'm not able too. Perhaps in the future. :) Thanks so much for your idea!!! xoxo
;) Thanks for the reply!! Blessings to you
i just watched your intro (about to watch the rest of the video) but did you know that Tim Holtz came out with a Distress Glaze that you can now put over the Stains and Inks that make them permanent? It's super cool. So now you can layer stuff on top of stuff.
+Tess Martello (MartelloBeauty) WHAAAAA???!!!??? Gotta check that out!!! You temptress. LOL ;) Thanks for watching! xoxo
+Ali Brown Kristina Werner (starofmay on RUclips) did a beautiful watercolor envelope with the inks and used the glaze on it.
I absolutely love it❣️
So are SOOOO much fun!
And for watchin'!!! xoxo
+Ali Brown Oooh! Hahaha! Glad you found a way! I keep watching your videos.
I started using Bingo daubers to paint and make dots and put into a journal and they work great
Okay, I am waaaay behind watching YT again but I always save your videos so I make sure not to miss a single one!
+sheapup Holy Smokes! That's a HUGE compliment!!! Thank you so much!!! Hoping to film another Journal With Me episode tomorrow. :) xoxo
Your journal is so beautiful. Even with the 'imperfections'
💖
Lol.
+Donna Panzardo Sounds like a great actions plan!!! ;)
I LOVE Inktense pencils. You may also want to check out neo color II's. (Just make sure they are II's, they are the ones that blend very well and layer in awesomeness.)They are AMAZING for journal pages. I plan to try them on my midori paper very soon. Love your videos so much. xoxo
+unorthodoxmama Oooooh! Totally gonna check that out! Thanks so much for sharing and for the love!
Thanks Ali, was a great watch.
What kind of printer do you use for your journal photos? I love your videos, you inspire me so much to try different things with my journal!
As always, loved your video!!! Thanks for sharing! :)
What brand of journal did you use?
*nice job by the way
Hi Ali, I really enjoy your videos.
+Ali Brown Thanks Ali.. yep, been hearing about the Tomoe and here it is all the rage and pricey and yummy too. Thanks!!
I loved this so much. I wish I could hire you to buy me everything I need to start my journaling. I love the art, and I love watching you, I love being your Mommy I remember how much fun it was watching you grow up into the beautiful Godly woman you are. Muah!!!
+Pennee Rowland Love you, Mamma!
I really enjoyed this video. It's a different way to journal. Even though you made some mistakes, you were still able to use those mistakes.
I love this video! please make more in the future :)
+Thy Phan Will do!!! Thank you so much for watching!!! xoxo
So fun to watch, I had no idea you could do that with ink tense, thanks for sharing!
+MyLifeMits Your welcome!!! Thanks for watching! :)
HAHA! Sorry! I'm just now gettin' the time to respond to everyone. ;) Thanks for watching!! xoxo
Heheh your awesome Ali, thank you for the inspiration!!
You do such neat stuff. Thanks for sharing.
+Donna Panzardo Thank you so much!!! xoxo
You're amazing!! You inspired me to start a journal again. And make it more creative ❤️❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️😘😘😘😘
Woohoo! YAY for journaling again! SO excited that you are enjoying the process! xoxo
how did you print off your photo from your iPhone? and can i buy it from somewhere?! ps love your journalling !!
I use a Canon Selphy printer and use the Selphy app to print from my phone to the little printer. I have an in-depth review of the Selphy printer here if you'd like to check it out :)
ruclips.net/video/ELVr_89N5rY/видео.html

Love watching your videos!! I always look forward to them :) I just purchased some Sakura Decorese Gel ink pens from JetPens and they work great on glossy photos! They come in really fun colors too. Your videos inspired me to get a Canon Selphy printer and I LOVE it! Thanks for all your great posts!
+Valerie Iral So awesome!!! I love the website JetPens! Didn't even think to look there. DUH!!! ;) Thanks so much for sharing!!!
Truly! ;) xoxo
I love this!
great video!! I love all your videos!!
+Elisa Smith Thank you so much!!! xoxo
What kind of paint pens do you use? I'd love to see a video about which pens write on which paints/stains/pics!
+Sara Berry Paint pens? Which ones? Did I use it in this video?
+Ali Brown I guess they were markers?
+Sara Berry Ok. Let me see if we can narrow it down...I'm still not sure. ;) Did I use them in this video to do the actual journaling with, write on the pictures, or color and doodle?
No they were next to your journal... There was a pink one... I'll find it.
Sara Berry AHHH! Ok. I'm lookin' too. :)
Wow so awesome! I made two episodeds of this on my own channel! Really love the concept!
This was awesome. You are so darn cute ! Anyway. Can you show how you did the collage with your photos on your phone. Thanks
+Vanessa Jones I can do that in another video if you'd like. Maybe for me next PhotoTip Friday. :)
I read somewhere that you can print out matte photos from the selphy by selecting another option. Here's what it said:
1) press "menu"
2) "change settings"
3) under the print finish option, use arrows to select "glossy" and "pattern 1" for matte like photos.
Love your video, , I noticed you got a photo on your phone and it was printed out, what sort of printer do you use
I use a Canon Selphy printer. :)
love your style! So much inspiration! Just discovered you. Can you please tell me what kind of traveller's notebooks you use and where you get them from? Thanks so much!
Thank you so so much, Kathy! I purchase all my TN's from chicsparrow.com. :)
+Suzanne Light Thank you so much!!!! I am staggered by your love and encouragement! :) I posted the video of why we live in a church! Enjoy!!!

Oh my gosh you are so funny and I am a mess too! We could seriously be friends in real life! LOL :)
+Jennifer Jackson WOOHOO!!! Messy Besties??? ;)
where is your insert from? love your videos by the way. =]
+Mely Anai I got the blank Midori insert. Thank you so much for your kind comment and for watching!!! xoxo
Try the Unibal white gel pen in a broad tip. I hear that works much better on glossy. And be sure to write slowwwwwly. :)
+Laura Prestwich I looked SO many placed today for that dern pen!!! Haha! Where do you get them? I guess I could go with trusty Amazon...but was hoping for instant gratification. ;) Thanks for sharing the info with me. Excited to try it out!!!
I haven't been able to find it in a store. I, too, was seeking instant gratification, because I have not The Patientz. #stalkingthepostman
Laura Prestwich The struggle...so real. ;)
Turned out great! Love the look of the inktense pencils, what brand plz? What were the pens you used around the little heart? :)
Derwent Inktense, if you give me the timestamp where you saw that pen, I can tell ya. Sorry! I don't have the time to re-watch the video to check. I have SOOOO many pens. ;) Thanks for watching! xoxo
at 15.51 you used a turquoise and pink pen? :) xox
Your awesome! ! Just found you and now I'll be following you. Woo hoo
+Judy Barsch YAY! Thank you for joining my journal nerdy fun family here!!! We're so happy to have ya!!! :)

Good afternoon......does courtney that you mentioned have a youtube video?

I really enjoyed this video... again. I am off now to get some journaling done... and just try some new things. All your fault. ;-)
+Sandy81181 YAY!!! ;)
What kind of printer do you use for your pictures you put in your journal?
My computer and when I travel, my Canon Selphy printer. :)
i love your video. very nice. i see you keep your desk like i do.... xo
Haha! Yes! It is 'strategically' messy. ;)
+Ali Brown yes lol
Thank you for sharing!
+Sevda Simsek Your welcome!!! :)
i have a question about your printer. du you have a line on every foto you print out?
I see very faint lines sometimes in the sky of a picture sometimes.
I film with the tripod in front of me facing down at the workspace, then when I edit I just flip the footage so it looks right side up.
