You touch on some fantastic points here Matt. Extremely relatable. Guilt-trip myself so much when I'm on holiday, doing a hobby, even with family / friends just because I'm not grinding. But then I started thinking what do I actually want out of life? Journaling helps a lot but very much an ongoing process

Love this. I feel like I'm watching so many people have similar realizations about taking better mental/physical care of themselves this year, myself included. Inspiring to follow your journey as always!

Good video Matt, It's easy to get too comfortable in our hometown and limits our growth.. Make me want to go back to Bali now haha

    Hi Matt
Can you do a video on the downfalls of starting a ecom brand as 99% of people do not understand the issues and problems behind the scenes.
Everybody will tell you what they want you to hear, how much revenue they make etc, but they won’t tell you that it’s ruthless, dog eat dog and that it takes alot of money to launch a brand ( ad cost, agency, photography, shopify development)
Their are a lot of snakes in the industry and people will use you for money, you will have issues with suppliers, issues with customers, problems with deliveries
I just feel like today so many people selling courses of how they can help start ups but it’s all bulshit and just a money maker for them
We need someone to actually tell the truth to how to source products, product amounts and costs, how they set up shopify, how they advertised the brand starting out without huge sums of money, how they dealt with bad suppliers, how they managed orders, the do’s and dont’s
I feel like your genuine and straight to point, so would be good to hear the real story from you with the ins and outs as I know most don’t say nothing and just sell fake air to look good

have the same belief, best i've felt was in bali too, make way more money now but the social aspect was so much better. we are tribal creatures at the end of the day. in bali would just shut the laptop at 5 and go to watch the sunset at the beach. now alone in a uk apartment, working all night, but for what? definitely reminds me of when you spoke about hating living alone in newcastle. feeling that myself now, it's not a healthy way to live unless you bring a gf into the house
