    I am not sure how you feel about these videos, but I am finding them so helpful. As I get older I feel the most important thing is mindset. I like how raw and transparent you are about your business. I also appreciate the insights into where your mindset is and the mistakes you are making. Keep the vids coming! Thanks Matt!

    Congrats on the 25 months! That's a big accomplishment. I think this is a good assessment. Nearly all of the greats have found their success by narrowing their focus. No one cares if Le Bron can't play soccer. Patience is integral. Growth may be less rapid but presumably much more stable and consistent.

    Great video - Love the honesty. You sound like you need to clear the decks to add a little clarity (It maybe cathartic) to do so. Perhaps your feeling comes from lack of control and feeling a disconnect with the brand you once did everything for. I own an Amazon Ageny and was a former brand owner of two DTC products so I understand this. Not a pitch but I noticed this weeks ago, your gummie range isnt even on Amazon or in your Amazon shop, I appreciate it may not be a priority but 50% of consumers search Amazon for any product. If yours isn't there your compeitotrs will be bidding on your brand and product names. (Sorry, couldnt not offer a tip). That aside if you ever need someone to share an idea with or just vent, look me up. P.S expanding the range is fine as a MVP but were those new product ranges born from feedback from custome engagment or just ideas within the team?

    One thing I did think is why is rainbow dust still on V1.0, one of the big selling points to me of AG1 is the fact they are on their 70th version or formulation it shows they have been constantly improving the product would be cool to see your product improve over time and become the 14th version as a customer tiny tweaks of ingredients or doses or quality of ingredients etc would be a good selling point

      You’re an e-commerce brands dream customer if you fall for those marketing methods so easily

      Yeah haha we’ve actually changed it 4x times already but never updated the name as was concerned about cannibalising stock from previous versions and confusing people…so basically probs best if we just remove the ‘v1’ entirely 🤔

    What’s your revenue per head Matt?

    • @themidnightpod
      @themidnightpod  7 месяцев назад

      core/full time team - this year be about £1m rev per head - but if include all agencies and fractional people, more like £600k/head - I would say it feels about right but could probably be a bit higher
