Im a staunch Duke fan most of my long life,and the victory by NCSU goes down as a great day for the conference.
NC State has always been my team. I have fleeting memories and solid ones of that championship season. I was only a kid. As a youngster the championship game was a vague memory of mine after that UCLA game

I remember they were ranked #2,#3(Maryland)and#4(UNC) for a long time. Still thought they would beat UCLA in regulation.
