@@DUKE-REBUKEM so the sun is filipino. If you look to our flag it's similar. But the all seeing eye has a different interpretation. Our national heroes are all Free Masons hence the all seeing eye. Dave is a badass. As a kid I grew up watching him on smackdown. And to see how big he is now in Hollywood. The man deserves all of his fame and fortune. I wouldn't mind getting a tattoo in his shop either.
I love how kind and genuinely nice all these big wrestlers turn out to be. Him, John Cena, Dwayne Johnson, all seem really down to earth and great full for where they are. Really shows that you can be a big, muscle bound guy who "fights" for a living and *not* be a total asshat! Positive masculinity for the win!
Batista incorporated many tattoo styles into his body. I know many people prefer the cohesive look/themes, but I honestly love the different styles of tattoos all connecting. Edit: mixed styles ftw 💯
That's always been a matter of personal taste. Yes, some people want all their tattoos to kind of blend together into one cohesive piece, so matching styles, color palletttes, etc. matters to them - but then you look at guys like Dave, CM Punk, Bray Wyatt, Aleister/Malakai Black, etc. and they all have different styles on their bodies and pull it off just fine. It all basically boils down to what you view your body canvass as: a single piece of art, or more of a gallery.
He is Drax and I can't think of anyone else that would've been/done better, he made that character so great in my opinion. Never was a wrestling fan but what I have seen he was great at that as well. I hope he gets more parts in movies and even does some more serious or heartfelt characters.
Ever since his acting career launched, you can see how he grew as a whole. He sounds a lot more articulate, probably more than most people. Can't say I did enjoy him leaving wrestling for good. He's the reason I started watching it in the first place. Hope to see him in the Hall of Fame soon.

We need to see Cillian’s reaction lmao. Been a fan of this dude since wrestling. Drax made his acting career what it is today, and it’ll be sad to to see him go. But I can’t wait to see what does in future roles. He’s improving with each film. 💪🏽 He was great in Blade Runner 2049 especially.
I'm a Filipino and Super Proud of DAVE BAUTISTA, We Love Him here in the PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭
Never even made the connection that he was in guardian's of the galaxy! Wholesome guy! Heartwarming life experiences he shared, too!
Y'all had to be there in the 2000s during this man's wrestling career. Evolution, Batista Bomb, eating Eddie Guerrero's food... good times!
Spotted his finger tattoos in Glass Onion when I watched it for the first time tonight, wondered what they meant. Couldn't have come at a better time GQ, the stars have aligned.
When I watched wrestling as a kid, Bautista was the last wrestler I would have guessed to become an actor. Now, I’m glad he did, he’s a great Drax in GoTG and I enjoyed his role in Glass Onion. Look forward to seeing more of his acting.
He's always been my favorite wrestler and one of my favorite actors. He seems so genuine and humble. Sweet too. I love him so much! ✨
All these stories make me love this guy even more
Absolutely loved Dave's acting ever since Blade Runner. He's a phenomenal actor and underrated because of his career history.
i love his mindset about cover-ups, having regrets is part of life and covering up reminders of those mistakes helps you move on
Dave is an awesome human being.
no he is awful
@@aespa690what’s wrong with him
@Graham Lopez every party needs a pooper that's why they invited you...party pooper, party pooper
@GrahamLopezIV womanizer? source?
didnt he cheated on his wife while she was battling cancer?
Sad he didnt talk about his most iconic tattoo. The bellybutton one😆 really wondered why he covered it up and why he got it in the first place
Lots of cover ups are mostly as he said to get rid of ex's names. Another reason is to simply just do more like The Rock and Frank Mir got theirs because they wanted to upgrade them
I think he said somewhere that it was a matching tattoo with an ex so he got it covered up
I liked how he forgot to mention his illuminati tattoo 😅, like bro it's the one we're looking at first in the interview.
@@DUKE-REBUKEM he said it was a Filipino sun
@@DUKE-REBUKEM so the sun is filipino. If you look to our flag it's similar. But the all seeing eye has a different interpretation. Our national heroes are all Free Masons hence the all seeing eye. The interesting about it is in our culture we call an "Agimat" or a mystical medallion. Soldiers wear it during battles of spain, american, and japanese occupation. So it's cool for Dave Bautista to give a little reference and tribute to his filipino roots.
Definition of don’t judge a book by its cover, Dave seems like such a humble, sweet and chilled dude
Dude comes off as genuine, humble and appreciative of his fame.. Dude comes off as genuine, humble and appreciative of his fame..
what an amazing guy. awesome to see the stories behind his tattoos
I love Dave. I hate the media soundbites always making it sound like he isn't grateful for his GOTG breakout role. He's a gentleman with values, in the package of a big muscle machine hahah. Got to love him.
got?
He loves his family, friends, and is grateful for the things in his life. Hes proud of his heritage. Good man. Hes awesome
I didn't know this guy as I don't follow WWE and I also don't watch many movies. I appreciate this interview because he is an honest dude with a heart and understanding beyond most others. Would love to meet him and just listen to his story.
The '05 to' 08 run was top tier and every rivalry and storyline told was exceptional in the WWE.
His rivalry against Cena was 🔥🔥🔥
This shows a whole different side of Dave. This might be my favorite interview that he has given.
He touches my heart on so many levels 🙏🏻🐶👵🇬🇷🎬👨🎨♥️
Started watching WWE as an 8-year-old in 05. Missed Attitude Era, but pro-wrestling was a big part of my elementary school years. Don't watch it much anymore but, back then, it was so important to me .
Crazy watching him in wwe back in like 2005 and now the dude is such a inspiration to stick to What you want ! And he is so wholesome
take steroids and lie about ur meaning of ur tattoo
Dude's amazing! He has come a long way. Miss him in today's wrestling...
I was lucky enough to meet Dave at the end of a smackdown show and he is the biggest teddy bear you will ever find. Nicest dude out ♥️
This is incredible. Dave really is a great storyteller.
was a big fan of him back when i watched WWE as a kid and i'm still a big fan now. such a great guy.
This good-hearted man is the living epitome that you should never judge a book by its cover.
Batista Bomb used to be my favorite move in the early Evolution era of the WWE. My childhood hero turning into adult role model, always respect Dave for this one!
The tattoos represent of his life that makes him not forget of all the memories he have
A fantastic actor the man is built like a tank and is really open about his emotions I'd listen to him for hours
Honestly seems like the nicest dude. The Tattoo's of his dogs had me. Then The Winnie The Pooh story was a really wholesome one.
I remember back in 2004 when I first started watching pro wrestling Batista had just a few tattoos, now his whole body is a living painting.
he had a lot back then also on his back not on the front of his body as much
I'm a big fan of Dave. Pretty solid guy. I'm glad he finally got the big break he needed with Guardians of the Galaxy. Wishing more success for you, big guy!
One of my all time favorite wrestlers and people. Such a good hearted dude!
Hi Thanks for the comments and also Congratulations you have been selected among our shortlisted winners 🎁💐
Telegram the above username so we can sort this out thanks
I don't know how you could watch this and not become a huge fan of Dave, he just seems like a great dude.
Dave is a badass. As a kid I grew up watching him on smackdown. And to see how big he is now in Hollywood. The man deserves all of his fame and fortune. I wouldn't mind getting a tattoo in his shop either.
For such a big star he seems so humble.
Rock is a diva but I feel he is genuine too
@@kingpeso4240they’re all dope ppl in the grand scheme, everybody has their quirks
Big love for Dave! Glad he's doing movies, absolutely love the roles hes been doing
cool guy :)
I absolutely love this man! His heart is as big as he is!
And so is his illuminati tattoo.
This is the first time I have seen Dave being interviewed and to be honest he is a very down to earth guy who loves deeply and passionately.
Ele ta mais coroa aos 54. Ele diminuiu no tamanho. No tempo da wwe ele estava gigante aos 30 e poucos anos de idade
He is Drax and I can't think of anyone else that would've been/done better, he made that character so great in my opinion. Never was a wrestling fan but what I have seen he was great at that as well. I hope he gets more parts in movies and even does some more serious or heartfelt characters.
I remember when he first started acting he was not the best, but throughout the years he has gotten better and better
Used to draw his tattoos when I was wrestling fan as a kid. Im a tattoo artist now
that’s so cool!! happy for u
Ever since his acting career launched, you can see how he grew as a whole. He sounds a lot more articulate, probably more than most people.
Can't say I did enjoy him leaving wrestling for good. He's the reason I started watching it in the first place. Hope to see him in the Hall of Fame soon.
Floridian here. Dave had a place relatively close to me. Anywho, I'd run across him often around town. Never a bad thing to be said about him. Not just me. But like the world. I think he left Tampa after his divorce and hasn't seen him lately. But yeah. Dude is awesome.
For years I could never embrace my Filipino heritage but now I can. Not because of Dave but I've grown to do so. So awesome that he was able to do that all his life!!
Filipino heritage: welcome to KFC, what is your order sirrr?

Why not?
Why? You were ashamed of being Filipino?
How about writing a book, Dave. They tell stories too. No judgement, just love.
What a kind, down to earth guy.
