Taking a parkour class. This was one of the first moves they taught us. I couldnt get my legs between my arms id always go to one side xS so ima practice this way thanks :)
There are parkour classes now? Back in 2007 when we were getting into parkour, we just had to learn from grainy 480p RUclips video, and lots of eating dirt/concrete 😂
Thanks for this. I’ve had two hip surgeries and going into flexion that’s necessary for kong is still scary but when I see you do it it seems like you get enough height so you don’t have to crunch so much. Wish me luck
Thx so much my dude, I was so scared of even attempting the Kong Vault even with the worlds supply of crash mats after it. This video actually shows how to progress too the real thing. Again, thank you.
Thanks Ronnie was able to land my first king at the playground today over a bench. Felt great (also had inspo watching a guy long over a picnic table; seeing it in real life makes a difference).
i played a game called vector once and I did a trick called the 'double kong' and after I did it I was so amazed on how smooth and cool it looked and that where I got my love for kong vaults my favorite. also great tutorial helped me not mess up on taller objects by doing the quadrupedal movements.👍
Urb Glad to see I wasn’t the only one to play Vector! 🤣 I was about 11 when I found out about the game and I got addicted to it and started doing parkour with stuff around my house, I’m 16 now and I want to start parkour again!
Thanks! This helped me a lot! I have parkour practice 3 times a week. And this is very helpful! Our focus this week is Kong’s! Now I don’t have to be afraid to do one, because I already know!✨😌❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

(I still have a scar in my leg) Sense that day I've given up, until I saw this video right now.. This video inspired me to go outside one of these days and try to learn how to Kong vault again, wish me good luck and I hope I can succeed.......

What mechanism makes your hands "hop" at the end? For example even on the initial progression my hands stay on the ground making it more difficult to bring my feet through and further. Any advice?
Well imagine that your pushing off the ground with your hands at the same time as you drive your knees forward to plant your feet. That way your head moves back as your hips move forward
hey this was a great video its just that I have a question. SO when I do my kong and I jump at the object my legs are not aligned so one leg is up and the other is half way down and it looks sloppy. but when I do a kong and jump and then go it stays in place but It doesn't go as far can you help?
I know this is a old vid but I need help one leg of mine whenever I do or try to Kong one leg gose straight and then the other one flys how do u keep ur legs straightened
Everything was going great and videos helped. However leg muscles around my shin bone started hurting. And it just did not ease despite testing, ice and strength exercises. So I had to give it up. Well atleast for few weeks. It was going so well 😢

Videos like these remind me how beautiful parkour really is, that even if something terrifies you, its ok, and to exploit your creativity
Imagine seeing him doing that on the field

Before this tutorial, I couldn't see at all the timing of the hands coming up before the feet come through. Performed cleanly, it gives that illusion.
