Not even just 8. If your creatures are buffed you can get more value. 7/7s draw 14. If you have a ghalta out you can hit it for 4 then have ghalta hit for 12 and draw 16.
Yes 5 mana for 8 cards "for everyone". The majority of people don't want there opponents drawing cards for advantages. This is why it's being cut I think. Let me know if I'm wrong on this
@@Brenator18 read it again. You only draw cards if you dealt it damage this turn. Only the bellow player will draw unless someone wants to cast an instant to get in on it.
threefold thunderhulk is an absolute unit with bello, the etb and attack triggers can spit out 14 1/1 gnomes to block with on its first turn and the sac ability is just the cherry on top
I think one of the best adds in the deck would be Bramble Sovereign. Your 4+MV artifacts/enchantments enter as creatures so you can pay the 1G to create a token copy of it. Plus with the recent reprint it’s only $2. You can also just copy your creatures to have more blockers since that seems to be something the deck is lacking.
Grothama is 5cmc draw 8 cards. You wouldn't cast it and pass. Your animated elementals have indestructible (and haste) so you can swing, and draw those cards.
Tendershoot dryad's job is to create saprolings for blockers, since you lose all your animated creatures. The buff is irrelevant... having said that Tendershoot dryad is a big magnet for removal.
Can it only ever be 8 cards? Does over damaging Grothma, say with 3 or more indestructable enchantments, maen you draw more cards, as they all deal damage at the same time?
@@Spacewizzard090 The fighting ability that Grothama provides is a triggered ability, meaning each fight happens one after another and Grothama can die between the fights. But you can draw more than 8 cards if the first creature that fights Grothama has more than 8 power for example. Since Bello turns your enchantments and artifacts into 4/4 indestructible creatures, two fights will most of the time kill Grothama before other creatures can fight it.
Same man, started playing this past year and they are the only youtubers that give solid sound advice that actually works and it's not just putting the most used most expensive cards in the format
I think grothama is basically a draw 8 sorcery that requires you to have a couple 4/4's out. can be a draw 16 if you have ghalta out. Shamanic revelation might be a more consistent choice, even if it doesn't have the same ceiling as grothama, though I do plan to keep grothama in the build at first just because I remember opening one back in battlebond and going "there has got to be a use-case for this SOMEWHERE". I'll bet whoever designed the precon was pretty satisfied with that inclusion!
I'm thinking of keeping the Tendershoot in there. It doesn't really jive with the deck, but it seems like it's hard to defend yourself otherwise since your only animating stuff on your turn. He'll at leash shit out a ton of chump blockers.
My only issue with this upgrade is the same issue I have with a lot of precon upgrade videos, namely: jaded MtG vet players are tired of seeing a good staple card so they take it out just to take it out. In this case, I'm referring to Etali. It's a great, fun card, and I (me, myself, and I) am not particularly tired of it, so... yeah, I'll keep that one in. Otherwise, it's a very good video.
i went with a more enchantress package to keep drawing into everything because Bello kept getting removed. So more enchantresses, more draw and more answers to eventually protect my precious trash panda.
King trash mouth aka bello is an insane enchatress build, im only running enchantress's presence, setessan champion and eidolon pf blossoms and they've been putting in hella work. I want to work in a couple protect type cards, only running lightning greaves and heroic intervention atm,
I removed grum, he doesnt offer much vs. many other additions you could make. Especially since he adds +1/+1 and id rather keep my elementals at a 4/4 (cause im running pro removal above 4)
Leave grothma and tendershoot. Do not worry about the two enchantment gods theyll get countered. Also i feel like you guys should have played the deck otb and seen it go wild then made cuts. Fwiw the enchantment that doubles mana for the treasures is great its won me a couple of games.
Basically the effect “Is not a creature” will overwrite depending on the ordering. So bello makes it a creature and its own effect makes it not a creature if done wrong
I tried really hard looking into the set to find some good cards to add to this strategy and unfortunately didn’t find anything too great :/ Absolutely love the set and the art but for this deck in particular it was a little difficult. -Hunter
@@GuysThatMagic I dunno man, I would think Muerra is a good inclusion. She adds mana, she gains you life and she lets you play cards from the top. I would think that is at least a consideration. Also Scrapshooter might be a decent include. Specially if you lean more into the 4 power matters which is somewhat a sub theme I would say.
You have Grothama ALL WRONG! You cast it in your turn prior to attack. All your stuff is indestructible…you fight it and kill it! It is draw 8 (minimum) for 5 mana! Insane value
I just looked it up and treasure tokens are artifacts. If you have 5+ lands tapping for a treasure and you have your commander out. Your swinging with Ike 40+ damage
Yeah.... You completely missed the point with grothama. It's essentially a 5 mana draw 8 in this deck since your creatures are all 4/4 indestructibles...
Came to say this
So very much this. It’s basically a card that says draw 8 cards for 5 it’s pretty great

Pretty much. They also know that some of us have more than $25 to spend on upgrades

One interesting option to is Weapon Rack, you get a 7/7 indestructible with haste for 4 mana, what else could one want from a penny

It’s live on the channel!
Agravted assault and natures will , i put these for infinite combat steps

Why did you guys keep Grumgully? I don't think he procs when an artifact/enchantment becomes an elemental right?
it does.

can someone explain the combo between Bello and the two gods? 5:21
Not a combo but rather an interaction. It’s all about time stamps.
Basically the effect
“Is not a creature” will overwrite depending on the ordering.
So bello makes it a creature and its own effect makes it not a creature if done wrong
Domri makes it so your commander doesn’t get countered.
Im only going to replace the bad cards with cards out of the set to keep the art style the same.
