There was an totally insane guy who managed to engineer a TWIN 140mm turbocharged 426 Hemi in 1965 by using repurposed aircraft tubing and hoses.
It was dubbed the Turbo Honker and was clocked at 170 mph in the quarter straight. The car was never maxed out. Maybe the main reason why nobody died driving that thing.

@@IBR-SRT Some estimated 750 hp AT LEAST. That's insane figures in 1965. For a car using drum brakes. I'm still amazed nobody died racing that thing.
