I've been following the 50k + sub guys from London and various other cities and found them very interesting. I see you have just started and wish you well with your channel hope you grow fast. Its a great way for old dogs like me to experience the people and places that have changes so much since our young days.
me to bud. Mr Veitch sent me here 🤣 I order on uber about twice aweek I no it's not much but I always tip a quid id tip more if I could, you guys are a life saver for me and deserve alot more
Interesting video, loving the series. Didn't know it was so tough, I thought you could make £8-£10 an hour at least. Have you tried hanging around Wilmslow road/Oxford road would you get more deliveries from there? You work hard mashallah, hopefully some fortune comes along your way soon
Thanks bro. Insha'Allah. Wilmslow Road is a jungle. Too many pedestrians walking in the cycle lanes makes it unsafe and inefficient. Once you get past Big Johns, all rules of the road and civilisation seem to disappear.
Ive just done my first 2 deliverys today. And it was based in reddish. Im planning on going into manchester and was wondering if its hard for a first timer? Thanks
You're a legend mate. You've got a follower here already. Seriously appreciate the insight you are sharing here which can really help people decide whether this is the job for them or not, and you come across as a proper sound lad too.
Quit this shit to back my old job. For one year was good, but now I can stay literally 8 hours in center London (Leicester Square/Chinatown) receiving only order of 2,80£. Never again with Uber Eats.
Maybe consider trying another city. I’m from Glasgow and if your multi aping especially you can expect to make £12-15 an hour if ur taking minimal breaks. Good luck mate.
I do uber eats on a electric bike close where I'm staying at but is absolutely dead but in Los Angeles CA has bunch of restaurants it gets busy any time of the day starting around 10am or 11am usually start getting orders last time I was there
Would be great but a return train from Manchester to London can cost upto £120! Driving takes 4-5 hours.. I may try it just for a video but it wouldn't be very lucrative!
Did Uber on a bike for a week and had to give it up as it was not worth the time or the money, switched to car and only do weekends from now on. On a waiting list for a deliveroo account but not sure how long that will take, most likely a year.
Unfortunately my car only does 12 miles to the gallon! So this wouldn't be profit-making for me. I've been on the Deliveroo waiting list for almost a year no with 0 correspondence from their Rider Team.
33 minute ride for £7 so that will be 1hr 6minutes return to city & waiting time if any for food being prepared definitely not worth the hourly rate. You need to multi app.
Not good taking those long orders unless they are getting you closer to restaurants that can get you back to the city. You can’t compare if you don’t have multi apps. Then you can make some money. London eats is also on a moped doing this strategy. I am very wary of watching gig workers on RUclips because of this. I never hang around where there are already riders as the algorithm gets confused. Better to ride around as the algorithm favours you. I do agree that Uber has too many riders and need to cap it.
I have found riding around to be favourable too! However, no doubt it drains energy & battery quicker. Seen your video of you falling off your bike. Looked rough mate. Get well soon!
Uber eats is shockingly bad these days. I’m in Glasgow and it’s constantly trying to send me miles away for shit money. Deliveroo is actually better in my opinion
Like your video but uber eats are a absolute joke. I've been offline for 6 weeks because they asked me to send them original document aka passport it was expired so they said its expired . I spent 98.00 getting a new passport and they won't accept that. It must be the original document that's expired and been declined 4 time. 17 live chats all robotically telling me the same thing. I pray you won't experience this. And I've done 1200 deliveries at 99% feedback. But on the bright side I joined just eat when they dicked me about and that's miles better.
A delivery man who closes the gate, 10/10 a man of culture
Treat others how you would like to be treated!
you got a sub man! your work is an absolute grind@@DeliverAbz

Thanks for subbing, Terry! Hopefully I can bring you some good nostalgia from my cycles around Manchester :)

Thanks River
@@DeliverAbz I actually love this channel I hope you keep it going past the experiment 🤞
Great video once again, keep it up!
Thanks Zimma! Stay tuned for Ep 4!

Would love to see you doing on the outskirts of the city centre, maybe the orders will pick up
Definitely plan on delivering in other places around Manchester for future videos! Anywhere you want to see me go in particular?

I don't blame you Paolo! I always thought Manchester was the problem, but it seems London is no better.
the money ringtone! 💴
If you know, you know!
@abz came here from a Charlie Veitch video and find it fascinating how little or a lot you earn
Good content 👍
Hope you make more...Best wishes....tough job...
You are earning your wage with a good craft and the beggar is taking the piss . Carry on cycling and keep healthy, good channel .
Thanks bro.
He got free food, a hat and a jacket as well. Work hard and you get nothing.

Difficult to get onto any other apps due to long waiting lists
27 Drivers outside McDonalds!! That is absolutely ridiculous!!
Tell me about it, Edward!

Thanks adz, I’m from manny and always wondered if this was worth doing. Sorry it couldn’t be better bro
Thanks Rjay. I don't think you can make a living, but you can definitely lose some weight and make some pocket money whilst doing so!
Great video! Showing the harsh reality of food deliveries 😢
Thanks Junade! Stay tuned for Ep 4 :)
Just curious, how bout giving London a try for one day?

@@DeliverAbz daaang train sure is pricey. Yeah perhaps for the content.
So if there are 27 people outside the restaurant, how does order allocation work?
Completely random in my opinion! Some say it depends on satisfaction rates or acceptance rates but I believe this to be rumours.
Prob make more outta the Vlogg lol 😂
Lol if only!
Tough job !
Tell me about it!
Hi what camera you use ?
GoPro Hero 8 Black filmed in 4k @ 60fps

U should start multiapping. Deliveroo, Panda, doordash.
You're right - check out Episode 1 to find out why this isn't possible in the UK
@@DeliverAbz I see on RUclips many delivery riders does it

Is the £7 before or after tax
Yep, not worth it! See Episode 1 to find out why multi-apping isn't an option here in the UK!
Before tax, but Tax in the UK is only levied should you make more than £12,570.
