I made one using an off-road light. I replaced the halogen bulb with an actual LED car headlight bulb that has a built-in fan. Hooked up to a switch and a Ryobi 18v battery, no voltage step-ups or step-downs. This lights up the whole block. The reflector does a decent job giving a nice beam. I might ad a magnifying lens for a stronger beam. 18v definitely helps, it's a 12v car headlight bulb and it's handling the 18v like a champ.
Hello, I used a coller recovered from old AMD pc, you can use any cooler but the bigger the better :). Now I make the flashlights with xhp70 led and I use Acer HI 10800 cooler, round shaped that is easy tou attach on the pvc pipe. I will soon make a video with it :).
Wow, that's a really powerful LED Flashlight! That would make ordinary LEDS look really puny in comparison!!/Wow, este un LED puternic!
Sweet I will keep you on my notifications so I can keep an eye out for it, I built a light similar to yours but I used a parabolic reflector with a small battery pack but only last a few minutes
Try to use 36v pack and buck converter. I used boost converter on this one but for 3 amps needed by the led the booster draws 9 amps from the battery. Buck converters are a lot more efficient.
actually i need it for outdoor mobile robot that i made, it has camera sensor to catch a specific object. but the shadow interrupt the sight of camera. so i was looking for led to eliminate the shadows. thank you, your mention helped me a lot! :)
why you used 12V battery pack + step up converter, these leds works at 30-38V range so simple 9S2P battery pack from 18650 cells will be straight forward to plug
@@ImpactDIY i dont know about this led which you used in this project, but these 100W led from ebay/aliexpress usually has work range 30-38V (30-36) (28-36)
@@ImpactDIY but amps are constant - only total brightness/power draw will be higher - 3A led at 30V will be 90W, and at 38V will be 114W - 9S pack has 37,8V at full charge - so after you use flashlight voltage will be drop to minimum 30,6V (bms cut off)
Errr, 25 years ago I had a 12v spotlight the size of a large margarine container. It was rated for 1 million candle Watt power. Or 12,570,000 lumens. Your could stand on the street at night and put out the street lights by flashing the photo sensor. From below!
It may be better to use a 36v battery(ex: hoverboard battery has 36v and bms) and buck converters for led and coolers because with dc booster for 3amp needed for the led the load on the battery is 9amp. The one i made with dc booster works for about 1,5 hours, with buck converter it will work for 3 hours. I hope you understand, my english is not the best. Have a nice day and good luck with the project!
Porno. Ideia este sa nu treci de mai mult de 95 w ca incepe sa se ambaleze temic fuckeru. an led designed for a flashlight, that has 5x smaller size than this one, can output a lot more light lool. Use the right led for the right project! Bigger size doesn't mean better right here.

Thanks got it saved for later, great stuff
Trust me words are better than elevator music.
bravo chiar meriti toata like-urile din lume
Multumesc :)
Can i use two 44mm lens, one in front ?
Or another, a fresnel Chinese A5 pvc sheet ?
I made tests with more than one lens and it is not ok, a lot of power/light is lost. You can use fresnel lens for this.
Mersi.
Really like to get one? Do you sale them? How much?
where to buy the lens ?
You can find the lens in old photo enlarger
Waht name lensa x x

Awesome brother can you make small one like this fowerful
Heat is the big problem, I will try but this is the easy, cheap and efficient way
I thought that i will never use it because of the size but i use it all the time, i need it almost every month
Very advance 🔦 👍
You could also have used screw type focus adjustment , just like Enlarger, with locking arrangement.
I am working on an upgrade

Nice work! have you tried it during the daytime? i just wondering if it can eliminate the deep shadows made by sunlight.
Yes, it does eliminate shadows during daytime. I recommend to use 4500k led if you need it for pictures or movie.

10k lumens is not that bright.
It is not real 10k more like 6-7k. The producer say it can produce 10k but the real power is about 7k
