O__O this was in my reccomended 1:08 when i realized this was not your typical coaster channel. lmfao shockwave literally my fav coaster, iv rode it so much its a baby ride to me now. but i still hit it everyweekend.
I liked the Big Apple Coaster when I rode it in 8/3/19. I gave the coaster a 9/10. I got violent airtime on the second drop and all the hills and violent forces on the helix.
So now they’re putting better harnesses on. But question because I’m a frequent traveler to Vegas but I’ve never been on this ride: are the new over the shoulder restraints friendly to bigger people or do you have to be like pretty skinny like Intamin restraints?
Just because its height is barely over 200' I wouldn't call it a hyper coaster with a drop of only 144'. Anyone that says a hyper needs either a height or drop of 200' enables the worst advertising. What if had a 300' lift hill with a 1' drop? would you call that a Giga?
Either you haven't been to Magic Mountain in a very long time or your crazy! Magic Mountain has the most Roller Coasters out of all Six Flags! New York New York was fun and scary when it came out but when I went in 2019 it was painful!

I've been on all three that are still there, plus Speed. Big Apple gets a bad rap, but it's not THAT bad.
I went on this in 2019. It was so painful I had to see a Chiropractor when I got home! (Portland)

I actually like this coaster when I visited Las Vegas back in 2016.

Honestly that coaster’s drop is really fun, but it is very bumpy and yes that coaster’s over the shoulder lap bars are trash. #togo sucks.
