Ugh, I feel like both Palermo and Berlin knew they were each other’s soulmates but the big difference lay in the fact that Berlin was way more content with their relationship than Palermo. We all know Palermo’s sexual preference made his love for Berlin harder on him because not only was he in love with Berlin he was also attracted to him. I think that Berlin married several times hoping that he could feel for his wives something even slightly similar to what he felt for Palermo (but even he said all of his attempts failed), and when he kissed Palermo I get the feeling that Berlin was desperately trying to feel attracted to him in the one sense that he could not so that they could both be together. It seems ironic to me how they both suffered greatly in opposite ways, Palermo suffered because Berlin couldn’t reciprocate his attraction and Berlin had to deal with the fact that he was incapable of loving his soulmate the way they both wished he could. In the end I think Berlin was equally devastated to send Palermo away but he knew in the end Palermo would suffer less if he was away from him.
As if your first video didn’t hurt my heart enough, you had to put it through a shredder this time 💔 It’s that look on Palermo’s face when Berlín pulls away from the kiss is what kills me every time; the hurt, the love and the hope all projected in his eyes. The actor did an amazing job with this role.

I would give anything for them to show that happening.... But a whole spin off of Berlin and Palermo meeting/working together or how Palermo fell in love with him would be better honestly..
I believe that Palermo will survive and he will have a good life with Helsinki.I don't think he'll die because he has suffered a lot and they will probably want to restore his character,its possible.Some of the main characters will die or get caught like Tokyo or professor.
Berlin wasn’t exactly a “good person” either but the way he died somewhat made up for it & everyone loves him. It was his way of redeeming himself. I’m not saying I want Palermo to die but if so, it’d be the same.

So I saw everyone here saying that Palermo deserved better. At first I thought Berlin was a total jerk in the kissing scene too, but then I read some comments under Berlermo videos and found a great explanation: Andrés (Berlin) only told Martín (Palermo) that they couldn’t be together because it would’ve broken his heart. He would’ve had to live with the fact that he had something to live for but was still going to die. He knew it would break Martín’s heart when he would die and wanted to make it easier for him by saying those things. So basically Andrés acted like such an ass because he wanted to save Martín from the heartbreak, which makes the scene even more tragic. It probably killed Andrés to say those things to the one he loved. As far as I know that theory only leaves one thing that doesn’t make sense: If Andrés wanted to save Martín from heartbreak why did he say the thing with the 99% and that they were soulmates. That just made the goodbye way harder for Martín because he was left with the thought that he almost got together with Andrés. Almost. That just doesn’t make sense to me, since Andrés is extremely smart and would avoid getting Martín’s hopes up. Or maybe this is all just speculation and Andrés is really just an asshole. (Hopefully we’ll find out in S5.)

Berlin said he loved palermo and that they were soulmates. I think he didnt want his soulmate to see him die an unceremonious death, the kiss scene shared before he broke palermo's heart was waay too passionate for a person not feeling anything..it started hesitant and it looked like he couldn't get enough until he got ahold of himself.
Or by being soulmates and by Berlin claiming that "he's sure they'll meet again" might mean that Palermo might pass away during the heist as well,and thus they'll meet in the afterlife 🤷🏻♂️

Por eso se crea ese escudo falso y frágil de machista y ególatra, que no le importa que otros mueran para que alcance su objetivo. Cuando el profesor llama y le dice que Nairobi y Helsinki casi mueren y el contesta "sólo son daños colaterales" no lo dice en serio, el es el que más se preocupa de todos y eso lo vemos cuando Nairobi muere, como sufre por una mala sedición que el tomó y como dañó a Helsinki. Palermo si quiere a su equipo y se preocupa porque todos estén bien, pero tiene miedo de quererlos por lo que pasó con Berlín y se daña a el mismo. Gran personaje y excelente actor
