Good video. But on the point of rotation, it was difficult to rotate because of the lack of available depth in key positions and we were not killing games off early enough to give players rest. INEOS are already fixing the depth issue, we now need to put away the chances created early so that key players can be rested and rotated. IMO
I agree with the whole video, especially ETH rotations. It's truly amazing Bruno has not broken down with a major injury. ETH runs that man into the ground!
I don't think it's eth as much as Bruno himself, he's never missed a game through injury in his career to my knowledge and even when he had a broken hand he forced himself to play the full 90 minutes. That man is a true warrior on the field and lives for football, truly an amazing captain
Availability is the best trait for a footballer. If you're an amazing player but can't even play less than half a season, you are a liability. Take for example someone from our squad, Luke Shaw. One of the best left back in the league WHEN he's fit, but now he's injured again and stupidly decided to play for England rather than focus on rehab. Same goes for Reece James, Pogba, Gotze, and Wilshere. Even the great R9, he was a beast when he played but held back by injury.

Personally I think he was forced to adopt a pragmatic approach that wasn't his style in the 1st season. He then tried to implement his style last season and stuck to his guns, not wanting to confuse players by reverting back. It didn't work because of injuries and because he was not given proper support from the hierarchy at the club. We have already seen this summer, that he is being given every chance to succeed in implementing his philosophy on the team now. We have defenders who will compress the pitch and coach's that will help him implement his style. If we can add a quality CDM as well, I really think we will have a much stronger foundation on which he can build. I may be wrong, but I think we're going to be the dark horses this year. I can see us being right up in the mix for much of the season but ultimately falling short in the last 1/4 of the season, when City go on their usual unbeaten run.

With Maguire, McTomminay Erikson and Casemiro, I think they will play a crucial part in our squad depth.Sancho still has a shot at the wing positions for me. As you said we need at least 3 summer transfer windows to fix things and releasing all these players this transfer window will only cause more problems.

No manager can survive a season with their entire back line decimated. The fact of the matter is, we have addressed that weakness this summer and turned it into one of the biggest areas of strength in the squad. No more Jonny Evans/Casemiro partnerships at the back. Reminds me of the "dark days' when Fergie had to field silvestre/Oshea at centreback.

Many of these players can't handle the rigors of a modern epl season. United don't run like city, liverpool, arsenal.

EtH stated in his 1st preseason that the team must bury a team early for other players to come in and he can rest his best players.
