9:42 - "The large ,bright multitouch screens are responsive and quick to navigate" 9:55 - Oof. 1.3 seconds to update the view after a touch event is not what I would call responsive and quick. But I'm sure this isn't the production firmware that will be shipped and there are optimisations still to be done. Setting that aside, these consoles look amazing. I look forward to taking one for a drive and pushing some music through it.
Nice one, love these features, Assist mode and Spilt mode, makes mixing easier. Was trying to give it all to Quantum 8. But will these features I'm giving you a thumbs up 👍
Where are the AUX / MTX knobs? When I'm on tour and I see a console like this, I feel "boxed-in" while confined to the faders. I have to flip to the aux SOF every time. The M7 was a dream. I have a CL5 on my rider for one of my touring bands. Some other bands, for which I work, aren't so fortunate- and I'm at the mercy of the house console. For a visiting engineer, or a show with lots of delay / reverb throws, the more knobs the easier / faster it is to get rolling.
Hi Andy, Nice to see a new console from Yamaha in this segment again! One question You might answer: Is there a possibility to recall MIX to the MIX outputs as it was the case with PM1d? So te send levels could be recalled to a certain Mix output. That would ease the work in a lot of cases…. Thanks :-)
@@stevenhammerle yeah, also what do you think of no scribble strips. I know the information is on screen but I feel like a lot of the time I’m actually looking at the faders and it’s nice to have channel info. right there.
I had the DMP7. Sexy as hell but not good sounding. Passed it on to a friend who just used it as an effects rack. I think it had four SPX 90 DSPs inside.
Love Yamaha. But good job introducing a new console when I can't even get a ship date earlier than October on PM3 or PM5. Everyone needs to concentrate on getting us gear NOW and not coming up with new stuff I can't even buy

Can you ship us one to review as only we can?! Haha, you know we're the biggest fans. Yamaha-the better machine!
hi Ted
@@steakikan We ordered one of course 😄

Lovely, I’m ready to jump on board.
where can I download the dm7 Editor software?
Awesome!
I hope the dynamics key functions like rivage though! No more 8 bank limitations!

Do the aux’s have delay available? On the QL or CL it’s not available.
Yes, please!
Yeah. If you can fork 100000 thousand dollars, more power to ya, 😂😂😂😂😂Lol
I couldn’t find the DM7 offline editor
Yamaha needs a set of mixers between this and the DM3
Do i understand that in split mode my broadcast mix gains will not affect my foh mix gains.?
Sounds good
I can't find the DM7 editor software, where can I find it?

😎👍🏻 PERFECT
Does anybody else have an issue with their iPad app always freezing up
wow!
Woww...wowww
When does it ship?! I’m ready!
i want dm7 :,D
It doesnt look quick and responsive at all :/
9:57 for example it takes ages to change to the selected views
Seems to me like a good mixer race between the DM7 and A&H Avantis. Which would you choose?
The Avantis is half the price... But I find Yamaha consoles a lot easier to use!
@@soundman1402 A&H has come a long way, but I'm so used to Yamaha's workflow.
@@soundman1402 DM7 has twice the I/O though. Pretty fair pricing
can i get your yamaha dm7 console? the mixer was so good thats my dream mixer sir :(
Not trying to sound ungrateful here, but will there be a DM5?
Get the dm3
Has los vídeos traducido al español por favor 🙏
The "Achilles heel" of this equipment is that it does not have control software for a Linux system.
Looks great. Response looks a little slow.
I noticed that too

So, looks good but A&H Dlive do it all 4 years ago... to late
yes, but the faders actually keep working on this...:).

Unimpressed. All the features but no real world testing. Meter bridge? iPad app, no info probably shitty. Yamaha need some proper videos.

damn i desperate to get this one
does anybody want to buy my kidney?
