Maybe it's because my native language isn't English, but I feel he speaks perfectly. Not too slow and not too fast. instead of thos where you have to listen at 0.5 or constantly have to step back and relisten to get it all cause they speak so darn fast 😄
@@archidube I think they're making a big mistake not doing this already? I don't know who's making the decisions there but it's a no-brainer? Could you imagine how a DM4 or DM5 would be for mixing stereo and atmos? With a touch screen where you could pan all your objects and it works seamlessly with Cubase and Nuendo. I don't know what more to say but unfortunately, nothing that they are currently promoting interests me.
Great system. Congratulations. The most disappointing thing here for me is that there is no way to increase the number of faders. From Broadcast production it's the only thing I really miss along with the Time Link to set bulk parameters on a selection of channels on the fly, just like Lawo, Calrec and Stagetec already do.
Hopefully but I think they still will have to replace the Tf series before that. But it makes sense. I prefer the dm3 over the tf5 but the dm3 just does not have enough input.
@@justinwyatt1618 I was confused about the series. I guess a TF replacement would incorporate the DM3 innovations into a series with more inputs. They are very long in the tooth at this point.
Not from Yamaha, but.. Flash drives can commonly get damaged by something hitting them from above and bending/snapping off the housing while they are plugged in. The LED bar helps to shield them from that sort of thing
Do we still have to manually patch the stage box so the console knows what to use? 🙄🙄🙄 Do we still have to manually patch the in & outs as well.? 🙄🙄🙄 because if so that would be horrible that an automatic 1:1 patch isn’t available by now from Yamaha ProAudio at this point
The most dissappointing thing here is 18-channel USB interface. In age when we have Behringer WING with 48-channel USB interfac, PreSonus even with 64-channel and MIDAS Heritage-D with USB card that can also do 48x48 this is really limited (especially for this price point) and forces to use Dante Virtual Soundcard to do any real recording of gig. But I guess they just used same chip that's inside Yamaha DM3 and that was earlier in RUio16-D audio interface (2x XLR + 16 Dante channels). Oh. And no OLED screens? C'mon... it's 2023 and this costs a lot!
That isn't the only problem here. DVS has too much inherent latency to interface with VST Rack for realtime outboard processing. So the whole idea of 64x64 is completely useless for live applications. And no one running any production of even average channel count today will be content with 16x16 for external processing.
Unusable due to massive input lag, unfortunately… they got super cheap cpu on this unit. Just watch the guy adjusting the parametric eq. Soooo damn laggy i got a headache just watching it 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

Presenter Great voice and rhythm...
The David Attenborough of Yamaha product introductions! nice
This guy is great presenter😂😂, he charms you into listening to every word he says
I feel like I’ve been molested
Can we take a second to celebrate that the new DM GUI is in dark mode? Well played
I always have to put Andy's videos on 1.5x speed. 😅 Really keen on the broadcast package w/ DM7C . Kudos for flexible configs of the control panel.

I need a DM7 Compact. Starting to saving now. Cheers from Brazil!
The new CL5.
This is some great unintentional ASMR
Next level 💯
All I want is a DM3 with more channel count like 16 or 32 faders aka DM4 / DM5.
Do you think that they will do it any time soon?

@@errmable I Agee. They need to fill in the middle replacing the TF series.
Edaannn…Mantaappp 🤩🤩👍🏻👍🏻
I'm using the DM2000 for studio work, what an upgrade this would be.
Is their hardware like this reliable? I feel like they come out with hardware and then months later it’s discontinued.
Sometimes faders of paired channels would go crazy and jump around, but I guess that's to be expected from a 20 year old digital mixer
Outputs.. Outputs.. Outputs!! Welcome.
😎👍🏻PERFECT

Wooooohoooo!!!!!!
We are waiting for a DM5 hopefully. Bigger version of DM3. Is this a brand new series?
May be after 2 year?

Can someone from Yamaha explain how the Led bar protect the Usb drives ? Because i’m lost here 😂😂😂
I think the led panel body is high enough to cover the usb drive...🫣

Gusto en saludarte, para hacer la conexion, a consolas AVIOM es igual con un SLOT y un Cat5 ?
Good idea on the control panel, i think they have to make a software or app for it to control with a PC/Mac
hey ! I have a question. I didn't understand something about rear panel. The monitor outputs are two in one ? 1/2 ? A cable for two ? Thank you
Plz review the cl 5 console for beginners ...🎧🎶💌
Broh start to explain the cl 5 console
I like it :) ...,but..........What the EQ grafics? Looks like a TF series. :(
