Cable TV came out in our area back in 1981 and remember watching Nashville Now back in the 80s great memories where families and friends can get together and listen to some of the stars of county music
It was great family entertainment. Love the days of old before reality shows and gratuitous garbage filled all networks. The entire TNN lineup was enjoyable to watch. Miss those days!
My father was the sax player, Norm Ray. I grew up on Nashville Now. I even did a few Saturday Night Live type sketches to open the show!

I was around my daughter's age when I watched this. I remember this like it was yesterday! So hard to believe this show was on 30 years ago.
It ran from 82-93 those were really fun times for me

Wow I used to watch TNN with my parents this was a great show, also loved music city tonight. Such great memories, forgot all about shotgun red !
I went one time with my mom back in like 1991 or 1992. Saw a live taping.

Jerome Cabral : He went on to have his own show on RFD-TV and his own dinner theater show. His helper (not Ralph Emery), Steve Hall, died in 2018.

Moving to Texas is probably what killed this show. They should have stayed in Nashville. It was good.
