    Keith was that guy who slipped right into line with the greats, his cover of Vern Gosdin’s “Would these arms be in your way” just blew me away. As a Keith fan since the 80’s when he did this episode it was clear he was a legend in the making. Miss Keith so much.🎶

    I'm sure alot of todays country singers look up to Keith Whitley He did not have a bad song Just about ever song he had went in the top 10 Thirty years later and his music is still the most requested on radio

    Believe it or not I remember seeing this when it aired. I was a big Nashville Now fan and watched it faithfully. This was a good one and the one I saw with Gary Puckett was good as well. I miss TNN

    He ended up pulling the "new album" he talks about in this interview. He then went back into the studio with a new producer and cut the classic Don't Close Your Eyes.

    Ralph should have known Keith's band was Miami from Miami My Amy and secondly he can't even get the sing title Miami My Amy right? Unprofessional Ralph

      @@susiehallman1692 The perm and the suntanning bed, he was your 80's kinda guy. If he would have just slowed down on the partying, he'd still be here today spinning tunes and playing guitar. Probably would still be playing some bluegrass as well. He could have completely reversed his course and put down the bottle.
