I’m glad Merle took the time to introduce the Bama band. They totally deserve it, but I’ve never seen a video where Hank introduces them like that. They are a talented and versatile group, especially when you bring in the horns.
In all the years I've seen Jr., he's never once said anything about the Bama Band. Never. Wayne is a helluva better guitar player than Jr. ever will be!! 🎸🎶🎸❤️❤️
The Bama band played on a lot of Hank's albums from the 80s along with session musicians
@@JoeLazzaraI’ve been to about 27 shows and the one from the 80s-mid 90s he would introduce them he knew what he had I’m not saying he did it every time I surely forgot a lot from those great shows

It always cracked me up how Hank had a short phase in the eighties where he wore a wig instead of a hat.
