Man, Keith was as good as it gets. I just don’t think anybody in country music could be better. His range, tone, and clarity is like no other. RIP
Still is as good as it gets!
Perfect voice.
@@cbenci21agreed he was the Best
If Keith was still alive today and had continued his musical career, I firmly believe he would’ve been chosen as the King of Country over George Strait. His range, tone, diversity, and depth of emotion was just so raw! Keith was unparalleled in my opinion. He is the number 1 artist I wish I had the chance to see. Unfortunately, I was born years after he died so I never got the chance. Make no mistake Keith left an INCREDIBLE impact on Country music and his memory will live on forever as long as this world keeps spinning! He may be gone but he will never be forgotten!
This right here is real country music at its best! Can't stop watching, absolutely love Keith!
This should be considered straight Country Gold this video is a golden nugget Treasure of country music
What a singer from the heart.
World class musicians, & a World class performance by Keith just awesome!!
truly unbelievable..rip you amazing man..
This is the real stuff right here!!
😀 His music is timeless, there needs to be a renaissance of this type of music
Ráda poslouchám písně Keitha Whitley, neznám lepšího zpěváka, jeho zpěv člověka potěší a pohladí po duši ❤
I'm very impressed with the sound on this recording. Incredibly clear for being recorded on probably an early camcorder. The mix is so good and the band sounds just like a record. Keith was and is still the Greatest!!!!
Listen to how tight he and his band are. Of course he would have some of the best pickers around.
Oh that voice!! He caressed and molded every song he sung! Truly a songs best friend!
Thanks for adding this! No cell phones, just pure fun and a legendary singer/ songwriter!
What a voice, I've listened to him religiously since I was 20 years old.
Keith whitley was such a great singer / artist we lost him way too soon. He would of been big today you can't get country music like this today. R.I.P YOU WILL ALWAYS BE ONE OF THE GREATEST & YOU WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED & LOVED. THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT MUSIC & MEMORIES
If this guy lives then Garth Brooks goes away!!
Finally get to see this after hearing the audio for years.
simply amazing!
You have the audio from this specific show?
@@mr.luckys5807
Probably getting it confused with other shows or referring to specific songs there was no previous video of.
Love him
When you see Keith Whitney's earlier performances such as Austin City Limits the sparkle in his eye and his smile in the last performances before he died he lost it but his sound was still great
You know, I heard Lori say in an interview the same thing you just mentioned in your comment. I wonder what was going on to make that sparkle disappear? Was it something he said / did but he was ashamed of, or was he just getting tired of the road, or maybe he was tired of fighting his addiction. I guess unfortunately we'll never know.
Flawless! Miami My Amy was just like the record!
Keith Whitley můj oblíbený zpěvák krásný hlas, miluji jeho písně ❤️🎸❤️😊

Those shoes have never been filled since May 9, 1989 . I hope one day I can shake Keith's hand.
❤
Gosh, he was just amazing sounded just as he did on record.. I would have loved to have seen him live. I was too young back then, as I was 8 and don't know if he ever came around my parts. Such a beautiful voice, I LOVE Miami my Amy. Beautiful song.
In desperate need of a time machine to get to Lucky's and catch both of Keith's sets.

Best Keith Whitley impersonator I`ve ever heard. He needs to work on the look though. Suit looks fake.
WTF are you smoking?
stfu troll. you need to work on your trolling skills, they are lacking.
Silliest comment ever , this is him , many of us were at this show .
Stupid response !!
This is definitely Keith Whitley, no one else even comes close to sounding like Keith IMO
