And if you bother to read comments below someone was whining that “shouldn’t they be running?” Not on a code red. I’ve seen more people injured from panicking and being trampled vs calm.

Yes because running and panicking during a fire in a big building with tons of people is the best thing to do causing people to trip and fall over each other causing a traffic jam in exits making it harder and take way longer for those desperately at the exit jam not to mention the unfortunate ones that are really stuck fell or handicapped (Those disabled physically or mentally on wheel chairs, crutches, limping, ect) unable to get up or move and because of the mass panic no one is helping and making it worse if anything deliberately getting those people out of the way to move faster or slow others down
