Visually not AlanWake 2 league, but damn the rooms all look very creepy and I love how big the mansion is.

I doubt this had anywhere near the budget of Alan Wake 2.
Both are different games. Alan wake 2 emphasis mainly on investigation and Alone in the dark is pure survival horror game like Resident evil games

It will probably get 70 on metacritic but only reals ones will appreciate this game. People set their standards too high coming from an AA developer with nowhere near a team that rockstar has but then complain when developers close shop. This game looks good people just nagging and knit picking. This day and age people search for flaws in games it just so damn dumb

Nope, it's the typical treat the player like there thick and have the protagonist never shutting up and giving you hints, i'll just play the old games and buy this second hands months after release.

This game looks fantastic
Visually it looks beautiful, but I feel the voice acting and writing is really poor. Like they are reading from a book with no emotion. It's stiff. Especially the girl actress. Just flat. I felt that in the demo too. The little girl didn't react properly to the monster. It takes you out of the experience

@@Alien_isolationist yes but that was intentionally cheesy and it worked. Same with deadly premonition. It feels in alone in the dark that is trying to be serious, but it's not coming across as that. I really hope it turns out good. Game is beautiful.
@@LoneAries77 Resident Evil 1 wasn't intentionally cheesy. It was voiced by inexperienced guys who had a shitty script to work with

sadly this is only a six hour game.
Not inherently a bad thing, if it's a densely packed six hours, of high quality. Horror games are often on the shorter side anyway.

Reviews coming in. Told y'all. Bad writing, bad voice acting and non sensical reactions in game to what happens on screen. Voice acting Doesn't match the scenarios. If you can get past that, enjoy. But it stuck out even in the demo. Gaming bolt gave it 6/10. It's not bad, but id wait for 19.99 sale. Not a AAA title unfortunately. Id say AA quality.

Is it just me, or the graphics don’t look all that great for a brand new 2024 game? Just the shooting, blood splatter, and textures overall seem very quite basic for a new game. Why is that, and as a matter of fact I notice a lot of newer game’s graphics really aren’t that great in the last year or 2. From this video the game looks like it could have came out in 2017/2018 no lie.

@@Kallenator13 Doesn't have the budget of Resident Evil or TLOU, which are AAA games. AA games are in between that of an indie and AAA in terms of budget and team development size.

Es un juego de AA por lo mínimo este si se acepta pues silent hill 2 que está más arriba no cambia mucho la jugabilidad

The graphics are mid but halfway decent. It's scary & the gameplay looks fun. Horror franchises aren't for everyone 🤷♂️
@AlienIsolationist I'm am an avid fan of survival and psychological horror games. I played the demo and enjoyed it surprisingly.
Tbh, I had high expectations with this title despite the delays. I'll wait for a sale if it turns out to be good. Probably the first chapters start off slow.
