Cave of the winds is a great place and the pizza place . Pizza palace it has the up stairs and you get a number and numbers come up on the mirrors. The player piano. Has mannikins. . There is sand dunes . The best zoo. Great museums. Close to the Citadel mall. They’re also used to be an ice cream factory not far from our house but it’s probably long gone. Loved going through Manitou Springs. Even took a trip on pikes Peak. Yes, Colorado Springs has a lot of things to do.
I LOVE Cave of The Winds!! We went last year, but three of our kids got car sick and stayed in the 5th wheel with my husband. We need to go back and do that again! A couple of years ago, my husband and I went to Colorado Springs for a three day weekend for our anniversary. We did the Cog train up Pikes Peak, which was absolutely beautiful. We also did horseback through Garden of The Gods. Also, the Kathleen Goldmine Tour ( I think thats what it was called). We were hoping to do some of that this time but were not able to. That'll be another trip! We always stay at the same campground minutes from Manitou Springs. There is so much we still have not done there!
@@rockymountainhomesteadangela your right. So much to do. We lived off of north Murray in a house and in five fountains across the street from Irving junior high school. The pizza place is Fargos or Wells Fargo pizza . Lots to see . Used to have a Santa land in Colorado Springs not sure if it’s still there. The pottery factory is gone 😔 but yes a fun place.
Yay! You saw the ice castles!!! Aren’t they so beautiful?! If you liked that, I’m sure you’d love the Breckenridge snow sculptures. It’s always at the end of January so mark your calendar for next year! I remember going to the royal gorge as a kid and being so scared crossing that bridge! I thought for sure it was going to break 😂😂😂 Thanks for sharing your adventure with us! Glad to see you back! 😊 love from south TX 😊
I'll have to look into that! Thank you for letting me know. We've never been to Breckenridge yet, but it'll be a great reason to go there! That bridge was quite the bridge 😅 it was pretty high up there. Of course, a camera can never do it justice, but it'll be fun for the kids to look back on it, hopefully. It's great to be back to uploading. Life has been too crazy and it's time to slow down a bit. 😊 ❤️

We love Colorado Springs! We did a dinner train on the Royal Gorge! Stunning
We want to do that one day, but without kids! It was such a pretty area.
