I have never appreciated food more since 2020. I feel like that's all I think about. As in always finding sales and canning something. I keep getting more freezers and maybe getting another one. I have a fear of not being able to have food for all my kids. I'm sure we all have some of the same thoughts on that. Thanks for sharing the haul

You are not alone! Food security is a huge concern for many, and 2020 made that much more evident to many people. We have some hard times ahead, I believe!
Bulking up on spices is our main goal now. We grow a lot that I can and freeze but them spices come in will come in handy unless we want to eat bland food.

I was fortunate to have had a well stocked pantry when 2020 hit. I'm grateful because I didn't have to stress out about all the things that people were stressing about, including toilet paper , rice, pasta, beans, home canned beans and tomatoes, etc. Having a small home garden was amazing because I did not worry about running out fresh produce and a lot of the things that you would see on the news that people just didn't have enough of.

I wish we had an azure drop near us. The closest one is a 2 hour drive. The cost to ship directly to us is ridiculous too! I know that’s not their business model so they have to charge a lot. Hoping to get some people together to get a drop close to home.

Im with you on organizing things we are a family of 4 with 4 chest freezers, 2 fridge and a 14 x 24 pantry stocked with all my canning not counting the 10x 12 dry storage. The prices of food is not going down only up so i also buy in bulk.
Keeping things organized seems to be a never-ending cycle for us. I'm trying so hard to work on better systems in the home for that.
The price of food has stretched us, but I agree with you. Buying in bulk is the best option if one can find the space to store it all. We've had to get creative with that!! 😉
