I remember there's also another sketch on this episode with Rickles and Piscopo called "This is your Afterlife" and they picked up from where they left off breaking character and slapping each other again. 😅😅😅

One of the few times when Piscopo was truly funny. He really held is own against the onslaught that is Don Rickles. Belushi's character might as well not even have been there. Rickles and Piscopo owned this. Brilliant improv.

Joe Piscopo worked well with the incomparable ad libbing of Rickles. Belushi could've been replaced by an office plant and the skit wouldn't have lost anything.

When this aired It was still relatively easy to get an apartment in Manhattan. I moved into a big one bedroom off of Dyckman St in '93. Now it's impossible to find anything in that same neighborhood for less than 1,500.00 a month.
The good old days of SNL. Some of the things they do today is good but nothing compares to the older years. Don Rickles was one of the best comedians. Him and Robin Williams are two of my absolute favorites!
