I kinda find that a little more hilarious honestly to have basically everyone win a game after a whole heck of a lot of fighting back and forth, just for them to have to go through a whole new game just to determine who wins.
I mean, deciding who wins by dice us not that better tbh... but if they could add a setting to decide ties with like dice, minigames or just keeping the tie would be better.

A full 4 person tie is a little feasable if the last person at the last turn steps on the bowser tile and rolls the bowser revolution event to make all coins the same. Having star ties happen sometimes, not 4 way ties but everyone having the exact ammount of coins is more likely to happen via the bowser revolution.
I'm glad that there is no dice roll for tiebreaker like there is with Superstars I rather have a shared victory than have the victory taken away from be from a bad roll at the last second

I really like the game but I feel the win is a bit underwhelming to older games. And I feel that it’s due to the host (being toad and not someone amazing like MC BALLYHOO) but also the voice actor lacking emotion. I mean let’s be realistic “finish” is one word but there is a lot of emphasis on it in past Mario parties same with “start”
