Quincy was an amazing talent. I was doing a summer internship down in the Monroe/Marshville NC area in 85. One very hot day they were filming a scene from The Color Purple in downtown Marshville, and we decided to go take a look at the set. We couldn't get real close but I saw Quincy there! The death that hit me the hardest was Randy Meisner. He and Steve Priest are my 2 favorite bass players. I was lucky enough to see the Eagles in 77 at the Greensboro Coliseum on the Hotel California tour. Best concert I've ever seen. Randy singing Take It to the Limit was just magic. The band just never was the same without him.😢 Thanks for calling out the OK Boomer thing. It's so disrespectful. It just shows how older people don't matter in this society. Like you said, they conveniently forgot that we made all this possible for them.
In facr those artists were NOT boomers... many were silent generations. Boomers listened - they did not create as much. Dylan, the Beatles and Elvis were silent gens... not Boomers. You are wrong here I'm afraid. Ok Boomer? BTW Xers are not Boomers. They're the forgotten generation and prefer it that wsy. Boomers are dropping off in their 70s while silent genners are in their 80s and 90s kicking on..... Boomers stole and took credit where they didnt do anything but drugs and laid the foundation for our woke society😮😅😅 as yoy can tell -- not a fan of boomers❤
