Read After The End Of The Video:
I know people are going to have problems with the comparisons of BvS’ Batman and Daredevil because Matt hasn’t purposefully killed someone in universe yet and this version of Batman has killed people before his interaction with Superman. Batman has killed indirectly by branding criminals to be taken care of in prison, or by annihilating them with his Batmobile. So these aren’t perfect parallels to each other but I do think that the similarities are worth acknowledging and exploring, even if you think one was done better than the other. This moment with Batman about to kill Superman is the lowest he’s been and his most personal and hands on experience with taking a life. So I think the exploration of his internal motives for being this drastic and moral toll it would have taken on him if he went through with it, is a very interesting dilemma for this film to bring up and I personally found it captivating and thought provoking.

I never thought one of the bests pieces of vigilantism media could ever show parallelisms to fricking Batman v Superman.

Are you referring to this video or the show with the compliment? Lol either way thanks for watching and yeah the parallels were there to find and they are both projects that I have a great amount of love for. So showing them in the same video was fun for me.

Big difference. In BvS Superman isn't evil so Batman shouldn't kill him. The Kingpin is pure Lawful Evil and will ALWAYS find a way out of prison and inflict more harm on others. More people will die that wouldn't have. Some evil has to die to be stopped. I'm a war veteran and would have slept just fine ending the Kingpin's life knowing how many lives would be saved by doing it.

The problem I have with killing criminals is that no matter how evil they are they will have family and people who care about them, for example let’s say a killer has a child you could argue that the killer deserves to die but dose the child deserve to lose their father? No they don’t that’s one of the reasons I believe it’s wrong to kill because imo it isn’t worth making innocent people suffer just to kill a bad person if you want to stop them from hurting others just throw them in jail for the rest of their life

I’m working on an essay discussing retributive justice in films that you might like. In that I find examples of cases where the perpetrator doesn’t have anybody to miss them and can’t be caught by law enforcement, at that point would you ever see killing them as justifiable? I like the point you brought up and it’s a very fascinating topic I think I’ll continue to come back to on this channel.

I have a huge issue with that. Criminals have proven throughout history that they can't be held. No matter how tight the prison is, no matter how much surveillance. They will keep leaving, whether you want to argue for the child's sake or not isn't relevant due to the amount for lives they would take because of the inability to put them down. True, a child doesn't need to lose a parent, but what about the other people who lost a loved? Yeah... no
