Thanks for watching as always! It's been a HUGE month on the Channel and that is down to you! What are you looking forward to seeing in the future? Let us know
Talking of Ṣ̌kodas, I recently visited the Ṣ̌today museum just outside Prague. They have a long and interesting history, initially founded as Laurin & Klement, they are one of the oldest car manufacturers in continuous existence, sitting up there with Benz and Peugeot.
I’d like to see you, Coupland junior, learning to bash metal and weld, so that you repair that Micra (occasionally supervised, guided and videoed by Coupland senior) 😀
Great podcast Jon. Your dad was on cracking form! I know that EV videos aren't always popular, but I'm not decided either way on them as a potential purchase so welcome reviews from youtubers who are also neither particularly for or against, but open minded to give them a try. Cheers.
Hi Jon and Pete what a great pistons as ever! And such a busy month can’t believe all the cars which have received attention and well done on the new car reviews! I am sorry to hear about the micra and also the three protons hopefully one day you will find a satria GTI or you could have a Hyundai stellar or pony! Agree with Pete about southwold you need a bank loan there lol 😂 and also re Disneyland but it’s well worth it we love the paris one Hope you are all keeping well and look forward to July vids all the best Daniel
Everyone wants to see it at Rustival Jon, I know it’s not fair to get your Dad to do all that welding, I reckon get a quote and see if the community will part fund it, it’s gotta be saved 😉
That's very kind but certainly wouldn't feel right asking folks to donate to keep my hobby going :) - appreciate all the revenue just from people supporting the channel 😊
Aww no. That's a shame about the red K11. As you say, the bits you can see look really good and shiny. Just a shame it is hiding so much rust. Send it to Matt at Furious Driving. He's always welding something these days! Right decision made on the Compact GTi. Worth holding out for a good one i reckon.
I still cant get over the Sport badge on the Micra lol top speed i think was like 93mph so not what id term sporty but glad to see that car in such good condition for its age , I saw a really old car yesterday a 2.2 litre Vauxhall Omega but it was not in very good condition body wise a lot of rusted panels and green moss lol the lady who owns it is a regular at Tesco and she only uses it to go to the shop and back , the cars engine has served her well from new in 2002 so after 22 years loyal service she sees no need to buy a new car until it eventually dies. Anyway hope you and your Dad have a great weekend Jon 😀
